And yes I know it's playback but I don't care...it's so beautiful. The way they look at eachother, everything...amazing. And to think that this is right around the time they'd gone public with their love as well. But then, each time she comes back with a new look or new hair I think she looks better than ever! But this is how she was when I first discovered her and it brings back many fond memories... And I'm so glad to see that she has remained unchanged and grounded! When you watch clips like this you realise that the only thing that has changed is Celine's career and success. She is the same person now as she was then. In my mind she was always much more serious during this era so it is nice to see her goofing around and having fun even back then! She's great! As for the song, I had no idea Whitney and Barbara wanted to record it! I guess we all know why David picked Celine... No way could the other two have brought such emotion and sincerity to the song...! Celine was and is the greatest! I like the one in TCOML concert DVD, but this one seems much more personal because he was sitting right next to her, looking into her eyes. I'm always amazed when I see videos or photos from this era... When she recorded The Power Of Love and Think Twice... To think she was only 25! My age today! And yet she looked so mature, if you know what I mean. And her voice was like crystal, out of this world, so much power and soul. And so successful... And only 25! But then, I guess she'd been in the business thirteen years even then! She has spent her entire life on stage singing...! If you listen to the Olympia show, it is so hard to believe that the person singing is only 26! I mean, the show is perfect and Celine is clearly at ease and knows exactly what she has to do! She is so assured and confident! It's fascinating.... And the voice is flawless! Just listening to Medley Starmania now and I'm blown away...!
