godessceline Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 Speaking career wise, of course. Personally, I would have given my right arm to be in the studio the first time Céline hit that high note (a D, is it? Or was it higher that first time than it is on the album because the point she wanted to prove?) of "All By Myself" and held it and held it and held it and then stormed out. Also, the time she lost her voice and the crowd got out of their seats one by one to sing her the rest of the song must have been absolutely amazing. Such a love story. http://image71.webshots.com/71/0/85/81/2396085810060336923zxaiTG_ph.jpg "...and let me tell you...if René thought that he was the bus...but forget about it. It's René-Charles that's the bus". I love you Céline! Corel Centre, Ottawa, September 14, 1999Palais D'Omnisports De Bercy, Paris, May 19 & 20, 2008The Globe, Stockholm, June 7, 2008
Allie Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 Kind of recent, but I wish I would've been there for the final Vegas show. What kills me is that I could have if I would've become a fan a few months earlier. I am in LA-area so I am close to Vegas so I definitely could have found my way there and I love the A New Day show, and I hate myself for never going.
Galuush Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 (edited) I would love to be in the last show in Vegas, in the recording of I Surrender and Fade Away and in the Millenium Concert Edited June 23, 2008 by Galuush What you say to Taking Chances? - 9/7/2008 - My own Taking chances tour. Celine Je T'aime!! I just want to live while I'm alive - Bon Jovi!! My God, I was settling in for a long winter's nap. I've been nominated, like 789 times, but it hasn't been since the Mesozoic Era that I've actually won - Meryl Streep
warriorbard Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 I would have done almost anything to have seen at least one Vegas show. I would also have killed to see her original live performance of To Love You More with that Japanese violinist player. It was such an awesome performance. "In my world everyone's a pony. And they all eat rainbows! And poop butterflies!"
Black Kitten Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 if i'm not mistaken, this is a repeated topic, as i clearly remember my answer. the Grammy performance of All by Myself which i think is a historical event of celine's carreer.
stuartguthrie Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 I'd probably have to agree with the majority so far and say the final Las Vegas show. It would have been amazing!!! Stu Have a MySpace??? Why not add me as a friend: Click here to visit my MySpace
CelineAndRene Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 i would love to have been in the audience of WCD 2002 to see MHWGO. "...It's the circle of life. You gotta look forward. Two days during the year there's nothing you can do about: yesterday and tomorrow. Today is a great day." - Celine Dion, People.
ce-line Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 I would love to have seen "A new day..." :') http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh31/celinetime/Wall_1-sig2-cut_zpsc3440219.jpg"Now hounds of love are hunting..." http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh31/celinetime/Mirasig_zps9c49e4c3.jpg"I'm so tired of this guessing game..."
Teodora Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 Oh my... There are so many moments of her career I wish I was a witness of. I wish I could have seen that first time Celine sang in Rene's office, to start with! I wish I could have seen some of the concerts from her first tours in Quebec, before 1990. I wish I could have been at the Olympics Opening Ceremony in Atlanta when she sang The Power of the Dream. I wish I could've seen some of the most important concerts from all her world tours. I wish I was there during the two nights she sang on the Stade de France, that must have been the most amazing thing. I wish I could have seen the opening night in Vegas (I was there for the closing night , I can't believe how lucky I was to be able to get those tickets). I wish I'd witness the recording of D'eux and her first meeting with Jean-Jacques Goldman. I'm wishing I could go to Montreal in August this year, to those 6 sold out shows, but that ain't gonna happen Should I go on? I can go on like this all night!
Thomas Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 (edited) Yeah, we talked about it here: http://www.celinedionforum.com/index.php?showtopic=30834 My answer is still the same, the Millennium Concert would have been incredible. Edited June 23, 2008 by Thomas
amyja89 Posted June 23, 2008 Posted June 23, 2008 I think about this quite often actually! I would have loved to have been in the recording studio for To Love You More, my favourite ever Celine song. And also I wish I could have been in the audience for every single Rosie O'Donnell interview!
