Other singers covering Celine

i dunno if there has been such a topic before, but if other singers would make cover versions of Celine's songs this would be my list:

 

1. us (by whitney or christina)

2. my heart will go on (mariah)

3. i know what love is (leanne rimes)

4. reveal (madonna)

 

that's just an opinion i'll add more stuff to my list later

Well, when I wish someone would make a cover version of some song, it's because I feel that artist would have done a better job with it, or at least bring something fresh and unique to that song

I don't feel this way on ANY Celine song..being my favourite artist, I think she has done all of her songs the best way it can be done.

Any song of Celine's can not be remade... it just would lose so much if another artist redid it. Celine is one of the best, if not the best vocalist out there and no one can hit those notes with as much power and emotion. If any one wanted to do a Celine song they have a lot to be compared to...

well, that's for sure NOT a Celine song, but a cover. I have no clue who the original singer is, but I remember having heard Rod Stewart's version of this song many many years before Celine included it on LTAL album

Yes, I'm pretty sure Leo Sayer was the first person to record this song. And if he was not the first then he is certainly the most well-known. It is pretty much his signature tune and the one he is always remembered for. Other then Thunder In My Heart (which I only know because of a recent dance mix) I do not know any of his other songs.

It isn´t possible for other singers to cover a celine dion song but for male it can be if he has a baritone or tenor voice.

 

Clay Aiken has covered because U Loved me and Don´t save it all for xmas day. he did nice job.

 

Josh Groban has cover Celine´s Just walk Away in italian on his debut album and is translated into Alejate.

Then we have the infamous song The Prayer.

Many females has sung with him from Charlotte Church to Celine.. and no one can outsing her...Celine will always be the greatest female vocalist in the world.
