My players plays both PAL and NTSC... which version of the DVD seems to be clearer?

Both

 

Normally PAL should be slightly sharper than NTSC but it all depends from the original transfer... Sometimes a NTSC is a little sharper than PAL. Theoreticly the PAL image is the best of the 2.

 

In audio the sound should be better with a NTSC recording.

 

 

But in the end it also depends on your DVD/BD/HDD player and TV set

Get the NTSC version! It's a great deal cleaner! I originally had the NTSC version, then my copy broke. I made the mistake of getting the CD/DVD edition, which was encoded in PAL format. The quality was A LOT lower and you WILL notice the difference. I posted a topic about this a while back... make sure to get the NTSC version!!

Weird, I know, but you can tell which markets they put more interest in.

 

ALSO... if you can, get the COLLECTORS BOX from Japan that has the ALL THE WAY...A Decade of Song & Video program PLUS videos from "A New Day Has Come" to "Taking Chances". Kill 2 birds with one stone.

Okay, I've to buy a new ''Au Cœur Du Stade'' DVD coz I lost my copy few weeks ago and I was wondering if I should buy NTSC or PAL version ? The version I had was the NTSC one and the picture quality was good but maybe the PAL version is better ? Edited June 19, 2008 at 09:16 PM by Calypso
