A NEW DAY... LIVE IN LAS VEGAS DVD AUDIO

Hello guys... You won't believe what I have on my hands right now! I've got the A New Day... Live in Las Vegas album in DVD Audio Format... Was this released? I haven't heard this format from all of you guys....

Anyways... I was checking out the new releases on the music store where I usually buy my cds. And the A New Day...Live in Las Vegas caught my attention because it was on a DVD packaging... I just want to comfirm this to you guys if it was released or have I been a victim of piracy... But... I've checked the packaging and it was really made by sony music... the cover is the same with the ones on the cds and on the inside there is a booklet that contains the pictures from the cd booklet but it has lyrics of the songs. The 1st disc looks the same as the cd but it has not written tracks and the on the top is celine dion's name and A New Day... Live in Las Vegas was written on the bottom... The 2nd disc looks also the same as the one year one heart cd that we have on the album. I've checked the back of the disc and I found barcodes... So I guess it was released on limited edition or collector's item...

I asked the lady on the counter; why is it that this material came out this late? I mean it was released last year and before Miracle... She said that it was the only copy in Manila, our capital city, and it was passed on different provinces until it reaches here... She said that nobody would buy it because it was very very expensive.... And the only person who bought it was me.... Although I spent a huge amount of money for it... I bought it at 3795 pesos, around $67 to $68, I think... pretty much expensive but it is worth it... really worth it... :clap:

I played the first disc and it showed a menu with moving pictures from A New Day Performance. On the upper center of the screen it shows two columns of the A New Day... Live In Las Vegas audio. The Left is the DVD live audio... And I tell you... it was really great... I've turned on the Dolby Digital with ProLogic II Music Program and it definitely convince me that it was made using the state-of-the-art sound system... My DVD player was a 6.1 surround system... and to tell you it was definitely good.... the full bass can be heard on the subwoofer, the percussion can be heard at the surround speakers, the sound effects can be heard at the surround speakers and the center speaker. and the rest of the sound can be heard on the center speaker and the front speakers... I tell you guys if we had the DVD Concert on our hands we will enjoy the sound. Unlike the cd audio,,, the DVD audio is capable of decoding everything even the tiniest detail of the instruments... the lightning and the rain on IACBTMN are more louder and clearer unlike on the cda format I can't barely hear the rain.

This is very long... but I just can't afford not to tell you guys.... :blushing:

On the right column is the instrumental of AND...LILV I've listen to it... and it featured just the instrumental no backup singing, no applause just chill giving instrumental and it sound very clear on a 6.1 surround system and I've heard loudly the sound effects which I can't barely hear on the cd audio...

On the lower protion of the menu... You can find links of her album... (A New Day Has Come, 1 Fille & 4 Types, One Heart) and when you select any these link you will find the instrumental of the songs from these albums and I tell you it was made on a multi-channel format and it sound really good on 6.1 surround system...

Oh I just can't believe what I have right now...

When I played the bonus disc... I found again another menu... believe me it contains a lot... really a lot... There is the link for Celine Dion One Year One Heart Documentary... It also contains Commercial (Celine Dion Eyes and Perfume), It also contains a link for her discigraphy starting Incognito down to A New Day... Live in Las Vegas (it has a brief description and photos that we can find on the cd booklets)... then It has music videos (IA, ANDHC, G(TSW), TLDH, JT'AE, OH, HYEBIL, IDAN, and Y&I)... it also has photo galleries of ANDHC, 1F&4T, and OH photo session and it was on a widescreen format... It also has a virtual tour of the Celine Dion Boutique and the Theater itself... On the 360 virtual tour of the real theater it started from the door of the colosseum then going forward to the LED screen the it started to rotate left and stopped a few seconds on the view of the seats then it started to move left again and stopped on the center of the stage, centering the LED screen and it started to light up and the screen featured moving background of TPOL, IA, TFTEISYF, IGTWOAS, IW, IDAN, MHWGO, IACBTMN, WAWW, and the giraffes that we saw from the Oprah Special... and also it faded a few second and started to light up again and it showed still backgrounds and lightings... All comes in DTS 2.0 surround sound, DTS 5.1 surround sound, Dolby Digital 2.0 surround sound and Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound, Subtitle in English, French, Italian, Spanish, German, Chinese, and Japanese It's sure is something... really something...

Now guys... if you'll see A New Day... Live in Las Vegas on a DVD packaging... BUY IT!!!! it is really worth to spend that much... I guess the reason why nobody had bought it was because first it was really expensive and the second I think the fans thought that it is the same on the cd album... I was very luck and fortunate that I have it on my hand and I put extra care for it... so that it will last a longtime because the lady on the music store said that it was the only copy that they had... and on their other branch on the capital city also said that it was also their only copy but they passed it on tho different provinces so that it will be bought because they said that they had it for almost 3 months and nobody would buy it... At last it was bought :clap:

wait, I think it's impossible. SONY won't realease any album in DVD Audio format. SONY has it's own SACD format, they won't use DVD Audio format at all. this sounds fake to me, sorry. :wacko:

Thank you. I can picture all these things as you are describing them to me. You are so lucky to have this. Is the show with the blonde hair or the long hair? I hope that we get this in the USA soon so I can have a copy of it and experience the thrill of seeing Céline in my own home without going to Vegas to spend an arm and a leg just to see her live. Again, you are one lucky guy. Thanks for sharing this with us. I hope that when the dvd comes, it is the same as everything that you described. :thumbsup2:

Thank you. I can picture all these things as you are describing them to me. You are so lucky to have this. Is the show with the blonde hair or the long hair? I hope that we get this in the USA soon so I can have a copy of it and experience the thrill of seeing Céline in my own home without going to Vegas to spend an arm and a leg just to see her live. Again, you are one lucky guy. Thanks for sharing this with us. I hope that when the dvd comes, it is the same as everything that you described.

sorry i haven't check it out yet... but approximately for the audio disc run for three and a half hours to i guess 4 hours... including the reading of the menus... but im not yet sure... I haven't check the timer of my player...

and for the bonus disc approximately run for 2 hours to 2 hour and a half...

I haven't tracked the time yet... coz the player read the files separately... I'll try to list down the time for each files and add it up...

For the discography there is not time because its up to you to change the slide because it contains words to read.

For the photo galleries... the slide changes after 5 seconds.

as I said before, this is the most fake part. SONY won't realease any album in DVD Audio format. SONY has it's own SACD format, they won't use DVD Audio format at all. I think 90% this disc is a pirate DVD. :pinch: but they did a good job for it, even better than SONY. :w00t:

So you think that i was fooled.... but how come that the materials are in good and high quality... Ive paid it for a huge amount of money and it has proofs that it was not fake... it has barcodes and seal of our custom and it indicate that it was imported... So how can that be?

Anyway... I don't know about the thing with the SACD and DVD Audio format and about the Sony... I don't know.... but I think that the DVD Audio format is the future evolution of music format... I read it somewhere on a magazine or a newpaper and heard it on a german news television... So I guess Sony wouldn't bother to use it, I guess.. because it will be use by all music company, someday. I guess... :rolleyes:

And in fact, for the DVD Audio... it was made having the features of Dolby Digital, DTS Sorround Sound, and ProLogic II Program...

if you can find SACD logo on the disc, maybe it's true. if you find a DVD Audio logo on it, 99% it's fake. SONY and Philips are against DVD Audio format.

if it's fake, I think he's just a victim of piracy in his country - Philippines, which I think quite possible. I've seen some fake A New Day DVD in China too.

No, because he says he has all this bonus material. tours of the colosseum! no one has tours of the colosseum. it was announced a long time ago that there would be virtual tours but it was never released yet!! so no one could fake this since you would need to film in the colosseum!!!

so i think its a trick. sorry but i dont believe him.

Although it sounds too good to be true, and find no reason to disbelieve him. What if it's all true? I cannot explain how shocked I am right now! Is it possible that we can have some scans!?

I'm truley speechless right now, and I need some time to slowly drift back into reality! I honestly don't know what to say! I am as shocked as I have ever been!
