Don't get me wrong, I do like Taking Chances too but these boring songs : A Song For You, New Dawn, Right Next To The Right One and these bad produced songs : This Time, I Got Nothin' Left and Sky Of L.A killed the album. bfhb Posted June 10, 2008 at 07:16 PM Posted June 10, 2008 at 07:16 PM I do like taking chances ...but i am very defensive of One Heart ....it got some bad reviews and i dont think it was given a fair chance ...but i love it, its a v positive album with v catchy songs .....kinda found taking chances a bit more darker and i dont really think that it worked as that is not really Celine's character, so i vote for one heart ....more entertaining and FUN ! In my opinion, they are her "weakest" and less succesful albums, and the ones I like the least.I voted for "Taking Chances", in aknowledge of the effort and the intention of doing something new. Also because it has more songs I like in it, like the gem "My love".I like "One heart"'s cover, I believe is one of her best English albums cover.I hated TC cover since day one saludos Quote

Personally, I absolutely love Shadow of Love, New Dawn, Can't Fight the Feelin', That's Just the Woman in Me, I Got Nothin' Left, The Reason I Go On, and Map to My Heart are fantastic songs! However, I do not understand why The Reason I Go On and Map to My Heart were not included on the U.S. version of the album... In my opinion, these songs should have been included in lieu of Right Next to the Right One and Skies of L.A. Quote

I definitely think tc is the diva-cd, where she really proved her vocal attributes..... however, "one heart" is a very optimist and good album.......I guess I prefer taking chances.... xD Quote

For me, "Taking Chances" is one of the best. Because of this album, I can't imagine Celine singing only ballads again ( I mean the most part of her repertoire ). If this ever happens, I think it will be a fail in her career. I'm so glad to see her singing in a powerful, strong, dinamic, young way! Quote
Black Kitten Posted June 11, 2008 at 12:58 AM Posted June 11, 2008 at 12:58 AM Taking Chances all the way! though it has some bad moments, i really think this is her best effort since Falling into You. i adore the chances she took, and i guess, she succeeded. however, One Heart isn't her worst album, but i never liked it. songs like Love is All We Need and Coulda Woulda Shoulda are 2 of her worsts in her carreer. i'd rather buy a 10 track hands down cd, than a 14 track cd full of fillers and b-sides.
