fan2celinedion Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 I wanted to know for the poeple who bought the A new day has come or these are special times (new remastred version with DVD), if you hear any diffrence between those new remastered albums and the original album. Quote
Javito Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 Any. There's any noticeable difference, at least for a normal non specialized pair of ears No seriously, and its hasn't even any sense, because its an album of just 6 years ago, already in the 00's. What necessity exist to remaster an album released only 6 years ago?. It would be more useful and smarter to remaster the old Céline albums from the 80's, but that just wont happen in this life! fan2celinedion Posted June 7, 2008 Author Posted June 7, 2008 I think so too No I wanted to know if for exemple they remixed the tracks like this : for exemple some more drums for A new day has come http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eSEtq3sOOo0 Quote
CelineAndRene Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 No difference... i have both and love them Quote "...It's the circle of life. You gotta look forward. Two days during the year there's nothing you can do about: yesterday and tomorrow. Today is a great day." - Celine Dion, People.
fan2celinedion Posted June 7, 2008 Author Posted June 7, 2008 No difference... i have both and love them Quote
Alex_Incognito Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 The only "real" remastered albums in the Celine collections would be - Du soleil au coeur- On ne change pas And they both sound great. Quote "People pay 20-25 dollars to see you."- Céline Dion, 1990
alextrusca Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 true, they did a great job with ONCP Long Box edition, don't have the "Du Soleil Au Coeur" remastered album though. Quote
Alex_Incognito Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/516F8uS2PWL._SL500_AA240_.jpg It's truly worth getting. The remasters are better than "The Collection" or any release from BR music. Quote "People pay 20-25 dollars to see you."- Céline Dion, 1990
KimboCosmo Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 I too wish they would remaster her old old old albums...from the 80's Quote http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/2765/48940711.png "You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep, because reality is finally better than your dreams." alextrusca Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 yes, in 2234 we will get a remastered edition of "La Voix Du Bon Dieu" and in 2500 a remastered version of SFL .  I can feel it.... Quote
Alex_Incognito Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 I wish they'd remaster and release all of her old songs, too. It would make a FANTASTIC box set, if anything. It's a shame that many fans don't even know about these recordings, or don't care because they're not in english. I prefer those songs more than her latest anglophone recordings. Javito Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 Today I want so bad a remastered version of A Song For You, don't know why!! :mdr: (maybe that way I am able to listen it!) Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"

sgcpc Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 first of all, i dont see the point of remaster a recent album (only 6/7 years), and secondly, i think she sounds very good always, and i dont think there will be much difference! Quote
