MTJ Posted March 1, 2011 at 10:28 PM Posted March 1, 2011 at 10:28 PM I KNOW I've seen the performance necklace before. I thought it was def. VCA (I'm sure I've seen it on google in the past), but I looked through the entire catalog on their site, and googled it with no luck. We'll find it soon. I'm not so sure about the red carpet necklace. Quote

Frida Posted March 2, 2011 at 12:02 AM Author Posted March 2, 2011 at 12:02 AM A tad, yes. Could be a narrow style though and she needed to size up to get the right width, and added heel grips... Davey84 Posted March 2, 2011 at 10:22 AM Posted March 2, 2011 at 10:22 AM (edited) Did You Know? Celine's wedding gown was fashioned by designer Mirella Gentile of Créations Belle Di Sera. It was made by hand, out of silk and French lace, with pearl accents. Celine calls it her "The Age of Innocence" dress because she came up with some ideas for the design while watching the movie. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ZKHbXh7jWis/TLXt0TeaWPI/AAAAAAAAAEI/Dt0Wck2i2Ow/s1600/celine%20dion.jpg she was very into sleeves back then! You'd think that someone who can get Armani Prive to make two custom dresses could get Fendi to find the right shoe size. Who knows...Why can't we just ask Annie? Quote
Thomas Posted March 2, 2011 at 09:33 PM Posted March 2, 2011 at 09:33 PM (edited) Celine Dion performed Smile for the In Memorium part of the Oscars. The buzz around her performance ensemble was that she was going to wear her second Armani Prive gown of the night. She surprised wearing this simple and elegant Elie Saab. Is that why it looked nothing like the sketch? Or are they wrong? Edit: 2011 OSCARS: For her first Oscar performance since 2007, Céline Dion chose ELIE SAAB Haute Couture. She sang the song Smile.http://www.facebook.com/eliesaab.fashion Edited March 2, 2011 at 09:36 PM by Thomas Quote

Did you quote the wrong post (the one with the McCartney jacket) or am I just stupid and don't get what you mean? I agree great job now what about the red carpet necklace. If it is in fact from the historical archives it will be hard to find a picture of it I think Quote http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p234/celinedion_56/tcc2copy3_zps08f18352.pnghttp://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p234/celinedion_56/tccgallery-1.png
Frida Posted March 3, 2011 at 04:56 PM Author Posted March 3, 2011 at 04:56 PM (edited) ES said she wore HC, but I can't find the dress anywhere. Frida Posted March 3, 2011 at 07:41 PM Author Posted March 3, 2011 at 07:41 PM *Correction. Had a look at a better photo of the same jacket, and I believe it's this cut (but in the SS 2011 colour).
