love the pics from AND dvd. Notice the sink in the last pic :o kinda cool but it must spill water everywhere

The basin of the sink is missing, go to page 158 of For Keeps if you have it, the picture on the top of her with Suzanne you can see the sink in the background and its obvious the difference between that picture and the one post here, the basin of the sink is gone.

Frida, I'm sure you recognize this scarf as LV. I did a quick search on their website and through the past five shows, but I didn't spot it.

Celine hardly ever wears a bra! But it's totally cute!

Seriously Lindsey :lmao: :sofunny:

I was drinking water and when I read that I just spit it out. Fortunately, I turned my head and the water came out on the floor instead of my laptop :mdr:

Here we go:

LOUIS VUITTON

Oh my! That looks nice

Frida, any idea what's the price?

ahahahaha I'm glad you didn't spit on your laptop! It looks as if she was wearing a bra yesterday. maybe cause it was a white shirt :giggle: Although I don't think that has stopped her before...

The retail price (it was released summer 08 I think) was $725 (+ tax), but if you want one now your best shot is eBay (they sell for about $1000). It's a cashmere/silk blend btw.

Edit: There's one on Malleries

If you're interested in Murakami's entire Monogramouflage line you can see it here

OMD! Ugh.. I wanted to get this for my mum as a christmas present but to do that I'll have to give up my entire trip to Europe

Dhruv - I'm sure she'll love whatever you give her ;) I wouldn't dare spend that much on a scarf because I tend to ruin them with my nails, but I've tried some on and the quality is  . (Not to compare with the $7.25 polyester/viscose scarves. Not that all people care and understand the difference)

Not a bad price for a Designer scarf. :whistling:

I'd say the retail is alright for the quality (a bit overpriced IMO), but the current re-sale value is only increased because of the limited edition. If you want a nice cashmere stole/scarf then I'd suggest you go for Hermès instead. Much nicer for that pricerange :)

However, those who own the monogramouflage and Sprouse scavres are happy with them and think they're worth it, and they're honestly the ones ones who can say anything about it..

I like the leopard print LV scarves  They are all very nice though. And yes, the quality is amazing. But I think I'll save that 725 for a new LV bag instead hahaha. That's a good chunk of one!

You got mail ;)

And yes, you guys are right and I think it won't be wise to spend that much on a scarf :giggle:

Yeah I noticed the red heels soles, and based on the platform height I'm guessing they're the the TiTi's, not the NP (the platforms on those and the VP's are too high I think). Too focused on the dress at the moment :P

Edit: meant to say soles, not heels

Edit: It's weird, Marchesa was my first instinct and the first collection I looked through, why did I miss it?

Edit 2: Found the explanation, it's in the Resort collection and I looked at the RTW collection

A resort/cruise collection is a RTW-collection, but much smaller and shown in between the F/W and S/S collections..

Since it's 1:40AM I'll let wikipedia explain :giggle:

A cruise collection or resort collection, sometimes also referred to as holiday or travel collection (collection croisière, in French), is an inter-season or pre-season line of ready-to-wear clothing produced by a fashion house or fashion brand in addition to the recurrent twice-yearly seasonal collections - spring/summer and autumn (or fall)/winter - heralded at the fashion shows in New York, London, Paris and Milan.

Originally meant for wealthy customers or "more seasoned jet-setters"[1] going on cruises (e.g. North Americans) or vacationing in the warm Mediterranean area (e.g. Europeans) during the winter months, cruise collections offer light spring or summer clothing when the weather at the points of sale actually calls for winter apparel.[2] These days, they are targeted at customers who have "finished buying their fall wardrobes and are looking ahead to vacations".[3] These "warm-weather designs [...] arrive in the shops in the US in November"[4], after the autumn/winter collections and before the spring/summer collections, or generally between November/December and February in the Northern hemisphere.

High fashion houses like Chanel, Dior, Gucci, Marc Jacobs, and Ralph Lauren offer cruise/resort collections. Although usually intended for women, lately "menswear is coming aboard with Dolce & Gabbana, Giorgio Armani, Prada, Zegna, Etro, Gucci and Burberry often sneaking a few resort looks into the fall fashion shows" or producing signature cruise collections.[2] Yves Saint-Laurent presented its first men's cruise collection in 2006 which has since then been offered every year.[5]
