Prince Whiskers Posted May 30, 2008 at 11:47 AM Posted May 30, 2008 at 11:47 AM You stated before that the drums in the background of this song echoed "Like Toy Soldiers". Needless to say, Celine couldn't have rapped like Eminem did. To which song genre-wise or melody-wise would you compare LMBYS? koocachoo Posted May 30, 2008 at 01:13 PM Posted May 30, 2008 at 01:13 PM What is this song? Never heard it. Quote
LVCeline Posted May 30, 2008 at 01:53 PM Posted May 30, 2008 at 01:53 PM Hehe I can barely remember what I had for lunch yesterday, let alone a song I heard one time last August. Hm....It definitely wasn't rapping. If I remember correctly the song didn't have much of a melody. It wasn't catchy to me. Celine sang in a lower tone, and it was slower tempo. I can't really think of a song off the top of my head to compare it to though, sorry! Quote
Javito Posted May 30, 2008 at 02:09 PM Posted May 30, 2008 at 02:09 PM I can't wait to listen this song as well as the other "rejected"/unreleased tracks . Its not the first time that Sony rejects the best songs for an album and includes and release as single the worst!! Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"

How you can say this if this song played only 1 time for the fans, and it was also a private party? How you can say this if this song played only 1 time for the fans, and it was also a private party? As I said, because Céline's Sony BMG team has the worst marketing instinct concerning singles and good songs since 2002 We have seen how great songs that were anticipated as singles had been pushed back to release instead boring ballads and promote the worst songs in TV shows Its not the first time they ruin an album rejecting good songs!. Prince Whiskers Posted May 30, 2008 at 05:13 PM Author Posted May 30, 2008 at 05:13 PM Thanks for the reply, LVCeline. LMBYS must be somehow original if you can't think of anything to compare it to. Sounds like Celine actually took chances in this song. Quote http://cdn.webecoist.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/modern-pet-solo-blown-glass.jpg

Prince Whiskers Posted May 31, 2008 at 10:16 AM Author Posted May 31, 2008 at 10:16 AM LOL It wasn't like I was the only one who was interested in what more LVCeline could say about this mysterious song. If I ever ask him on this section to give me Mimi's address and phone no., you can talk. Quote http://cdn.webecoist.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/modern-pet-solo-blown-glass.jpg

alextrusca Posted May 31, 2008 at 11:14 AM Posted May 31, 2008 at 11:14 AM I really hope they'll include this song on the re-edition of TCH. and not just some lousy remixes from the CD singles, which we already have. Quote

I have heard somewhere that Kara Diagio had created LMBYS... and since she can do crap like One Heart, I am a bit worried. /fred Quote Peace and love to all.

sayyed Posted May 31, 2008 at 10:11 PM Posted May 31, 2008 at 10:11 PM Let Me Be Your Soldier* Quote from a fan LVCeline, who attended the pre-listening party prior the release of TCH: Let me Be Your Soldier: Lyrics are cheesy if you ask me. Has a dark sound and army drums in the background the whole time. Rat-tat-tat kinda sound, hard to explain. Wasn't my favorite. I'm soo curious! Quote https://soundcloud.com/finnremixes
SuperLove4Celine Posted May 31, 2008 at 11:01 PM Posted May 31, 2008 at 11:01 PM Did the song have a similar sound to Gwen Stefani's, "Wind It Up," or Britney Spears's, "Toy Soldier?" - Joe Quote
LVCeline Posted May 31, 2008 at 11:39 PM Posted May 31, 2008 at 11:39 PM It isn't similar to Love is All We Need, Wind it Up, or Toy Soldier, not even close. It's low tempo! It's quite a mellow song, and again Celine sings in a low tone. I hope we get to hear it sometime cause it should have replaced Right Next to the Right One if you ask me! I just do not like that song! Quote

Alex_Incognito Posted June 1, 2008 at 12:55 AM Posted June 1, 2008 at 12:55 AM I think "Right Next To The Right One" has a really cool folk feeling to it. I would get rid of "New Dawn"---that one doesn't do anything for me. Quote "People pay 20-25 dollars to see you."- Céline Dion, 1990
CelineFanInSoCal Posted June 1, 2008 at 04:54 AM Posted June 1, 2008 at 04:54 AM I think "Right Next To The Right One" has a really cool folk feeling to it. I would get rid of "New Dawn"---that one doesn't do anything for me. I agree. Right Next To The Right One is a wonderfully understated love song, which is refreshing seeing as though so many of her love songs tend to be over the top. The lyrics are sweet yet moving. Just imagine telling you that they're standing right next to the right one. ::sigh:: But with these songs that didn't make the cut... either they were just bad sounding songs [Coulda Woulda Shoulda... c'mon... ugh], or they're being saved for some Sony-backed master mind plan for a special re-release of the album. LOL Quote
