celine5-5 Posted April 27, 2005 at 10:49 PM Posted April 27, 2005 at 10:49 PM Does anyone know why the "celine" logo is no longer on any of her albums? Surely, you all know what I'm talking about, the cursive and really curvy one that first appeared on "The Colour of My Love". It was on every English album and two French albums ("S'il Suffisait D'amier" and "Au Coeur Du Stade"). It hasn't been on any of the CD covers since "A New Day Has Come" and even then it was kind of hidden off to the side. Why have they stopped using it? Quote
AllCeline Posted April 27, 2005 at 11:54 PM Posted April 27, 2005 at 11:54 PM They haven't stopped using it, it's just not uses as muh as before. And the logo is still a part of the TeamCeline logo. I guess it's just time for something new. Remember, the logo was used for aproimately a decade. Chantemoi Posted April 28, 2005 at 03:59 PM Posted April 28, 2005 at 03:59 PM i think it was to appeal to a younger, fresher audience. the old logo evokes the idea of a middle-aged woman that sings sappy love ballads, wheras the new font brings to mind britney, avril & the younger generation... I've never seen her act of do anything like a teen singer. And by the way, in 2002 on redbook magazine she said she could actually wear and act like a teen but she thought it wouldn't fit her.
