What do Celine songs make you feel

What do yo feel When you listen to a particular Celine song, forgive me if this is repeated but i did search and didn't find anything similar so i said, what the hell

 

When i listen to Celine's version of "The first time ever I Saw your face" all my problems disappear, it transports me to a place were all is quiet and i feel as though i float in a soothing empty atmosphere... i don't know why that song does that to me. and the duet Celine did with Garou, "Sous le vent" does this to me too, her voice sounds so mystic and soothing.

sad: Another Year Has Gone By, 1998 is my saddest christmas. i was playing this song before we knew that my grandmother died.

 

happy: Halfway to Heaven. the vocals and the sax is just... perfection.

The song that makes me feel happy is "Plus haut que moi". It makes me dancing straight away and I feel so much energy

 

"The power of love" is a song I feel totally free when listening to it. It helps me through any mood, happy or sad. And I always feel that I can get by with everything

The power of love gives me power, especially when I sing the high note,

All by myself makes me feel relaxed and be quiet (which is very strange for me... I am always loud! )

Falling into you is so relaxing and.. just a great song, I feel like I have to listen to it..a lot!

Unison/ If there was any oher way remind me of when I first started listening to Celine, About 3 years ago and they were some of the first songs I listened to and I LOVE them!

Incognito makes me want to dance!!! Hell Yer!!

 

But to be honest I could listen to every single song celine has ever sung and I wouldnt mind one little bit!

It depends on the song, for me. The sad songs make me sad, romantic ones make me dream about weddings (lol!), happy ones make me hyper...

At the concerts I went to, though, the whole experience, all the songs, just made me feel kind of...blessed. So many bad things happen in life, and have happened for my family recently- so seeing Celine was kind of like some final proof that love does exist, good things DO happen, and things you dream about, thinking they won't ever happen, can happen. It was a really strange, overwhelming feeling I've never had before. And even though my Mum's not a big fan of Celine, after the first concert, that was the happiest I've seen her in almost a year! She was really glad to go again the next night.

Maybe because I was praying a lot before the concert (I was soooo nervous and afraid I'd just forget everything, that I didn't know what else to do!) but yeah, like beautyroses said, it kind of made me feel close to God. I never expected that. It was also amazing for me, the day after, going to church group and finding out how supportive of Celine all my friends were! I never expected them to be interested but they were asking so many questions and saying how wonderful they think she is. So apparantly, some Christian groups really like Celine!

And I will stop rambling now, I think I've said enough on how Celine and her music makes me feel...

Most of them make me feel happy, and uplifted. Sometimes they make me cry just because some of her songs I relate to personal losses but I love them all. They all are amazing

I'm Alive, A New Day Has Come, That's The Way It Is = these are the songs that make me feel good both physically and spiritually.

 

Because You Loved Me = Its my and my girlfriend's fave song, so its really special to me.

 

Fly/Vole = the only song that makes me sad, whenever I hear it. It has that emotion in it that gets into you and remember all the sad things you've gone through, and remember your dead relatives in most situations.

Fly always makes me cry and makes me think of my loved ones I have lost. Most songs just make me want to get up and dance.

I Surrender, All By Myself and My love give me goosebumps when i listen to the power of her voice.

There are certain notes that when Celine hits them, she is just pure bliss to listen to.

Let's Talk About Love - It still gives me chills as it was the first song i ever saw Celine perform live in the 1999 tour.

I Love You, Goodbye and My Love- also make me shiver, such beautiful songs.

Gosh..I love them all, and I can find any song to fit any emotion I'm feeling.

 

I have a story about "A world to believe in". About a week or two after Taking Chances was released, I was driving with my teammates home from a horse show that was in Ohio and we live in Michigan. I was playing Taking Chances and forcing Celine upon them. No one complained, and they were suprised it was Celine, especially during "Can't Fight the Feelin'". Anyway, we were about 30 minutes away from home on the express way and all of a sudden a street sweeper was on the side of the road taking up 2 lanes, and there were no warning signs to get over. Two cars right in front of us spun out of control and swerved into the lanes on our right and left side. If I had been driving any faster we could have been hit by one, both of those cars, or by the street sweeper. Right when we were driving by "A World to Believe In" was playing and it felt like a miracle, Celine was there protecting me from an accident. I know that sounds cheesy but it felt so surreal. I was freaking out right after it happened and Celine kept me calm.

Depressing songs that comfort: It's all coming back to me now, All By Myself, My Love, Immortality, Je T'aime Encore, there's more, just can't think right now

I feel happy when I listen to any Celine song. It's just her voice that transports me somewhere else than where I am at that moment and that makes me happy. I place myself in situations when I listen to music and that 's always fun so her songs transport me there.

Listening to Celine makes me breath! it takes me somewhere i have never been before to a place no one else can take me! its like im on a high, she is my air! i think all of her songs have so much feeling and strong power in them;

she can make you cry and then make you want to dance.

 

when i listen to RDMH or I'm Alive or I drove all night all i want to do i stand up & start singing & dancing.

i love world to believe in, it just makes you think about what shes actually saying. i feel like i'm going to cry everytime i listen to it.

 

this time has so much meaning in it & i think celine did an amazing job singing it with so much feeling.

 

whatever mood im in, i can always find one of celines songs to fit my mood, its great.
