Short hair just doesn't suit her face shape regardless to the colour. The sooner she accepts that the better. Not everything suits everyone and that's ok.

 

Loved her Think Twice era short hair, and her bob style while pregnant with RC, but no I don't particularly like it shorter than that. But actually above anything, I don't care that much about the style, I would LOVE for her to go dark again. ❤❤❤

Yes, long hair suits her more, but she can also look great with short hair like on the TT-cover.

This has me wondering if she secretly hates long hair and wants short hair but she remembers the last time she had short hair the fans went crazy. So I guess I'm saying that's sad if that's the way it is, you know. I like her hair longer myself but if she wanted it short I'd get used to it if it made her happy, anyone know what I'm saying?

I am so happy that the short haired picture is from 2015 and not now. Short hair looked good on Celine when she was young, but now it is not flattering at all and makes her looks much older then she really is.

 

Her current hairstyle is a really nice change and not to short. I love Celine's hair medium length and long. It's the must flattering to her face and overall appearance.

I agree. Mind you I was 9-11 yrs old back then, but I always thought Céline was in her late 30's-early 40's because she had the short dark her, and wearing dark suits all the time. Never would've guessed it was the same woman from the 91-93 Céline Dion era when she was releasing LCMM on Arsenio and so forth.

I think she was wearing a wig for the Nightline interview (I think that was broadcast in March of 2015), but she probably had back her long hair for the show premiere in August.

I think she was wearing a wig for the Nightline interview (I think that was broadcast in March of 2015), but she probably had back her long hair for the show premiere in August.

 

She was wearing a long wig for her interview? (are there any pictures?) Or was she wearing a short wig? Because if she cut her hair that short in January of 2015, it would have never grown back that quickly in time for August. I'm so confused.

The most logical explanation for the short hair must be that it's a wig and that she never truly had short hair for real. Celine has the best people out there, who have access to the most convincing looking wigs of the best quality that money can buy.

 

I think celine wanted to not be recognized and just wanted to enjoy her family time in piece for once in her life. I think it worked for the most part and that's why Celine was barely spotted her entire time off.

 

Celine even managed to go to Disneyland wearing the wig and not a single pic was taken. It must have obviously helped her stay low key, for the most part and allowed her to do more normal things for once in her life, like going to Walmart dressed completely average and hardly getting recognized or bothered by anyone.

 

I say it's a wig, because nothing adds up with her having short hair like that. I've seen many pictures, during and after her break, where you could clearly tell that her hair wasn't short. Some of those pictures were ones you could tell was Celine's natural hair. There's no extentions or wigs out there that could do that. Not with that little of hair on her head to attache a hairpiece or something onto.

 

There's been pictures where her hair is pulled back in a ponytail. There would be nothing to pull pack if her hair was super short like that. There wouldn't even be enough hair on her head to sew in some hair. It's a great idea really, because so many people are use to seeing Celine looking a certain way, so people wouldn't expect her to look like that. Yes, she's had short hair in the past, but not for the past 13 or 14 years.

 

Celine kind of has a signature look that most people know her for now, so it's not as expected for her to look like that. Having a short wig would allow her to maybe walked out in public and not be as recognized as she maybe would be with her, long, signature, flowing hair that she is known for these days.

 

Even we can clearly see by looking at the short haired pic that's it's a pretty drastic change and almost unrecognizable, which is what I think Celine was going for to stay low key during that time. Celine doesn't get alot of credit for this, but I think she is one of the very few celebrities out there who have truly mastered staying low key on there off time.

 

It's not for a lack of interest by the media either, because Celine even said that when she was pregnant, paparazzi flew helicopters over her house daily and they even followed RC to his school, yet not a single paparazzi pic or video was ever released.

 

Only Celine herself released controlled pictures from a photoshoot to unveil her pregnant belly. Not a single pic was released by the paparazzi for the entire 9 month duration of Celine's pregnancy, not even when she had to stay at the hospital near at the end. You would think that if there were helicopters and paparazzi waiting in the trees that there would be video footage or pics of an ambulance taking Celine to the hospital to give birth.

 

Even in dramatic moments of Celine's life, when she would be a target to the media, she manages to not be spotted. All those doctor visits for Rene during his treatments and not a single paparazzi pic. Clearly Celine must have some special tricks and secrets that she uses to keep so low key in basically every situation.

 

Celine is one smart woman.

The short hair is a terrible look and it looks real. Check out the sides of the hair in front of her ears. She always wears extensions and/or wigs. It is part of her look. So you really never know how long her hair is, but this is really short. Also, contrary to what she has said before (when she chopped her hair at the beginning of A New Day) and said it was easier to take care of......no it isn't! Besides, she does her own make-up (good job of it too) but she does not do her own hair.

I realize that I myself have contributed to this subject, but I propose that all further posts related to Celine's hair be moved to the Celine's Hair Topic of the forum.

 

I might have my own opinions, along with some other members, but this is a subject that doesn't really go anywhere, because at the end of the day, only Celine herself can truly decide how she wants to style her hair and what makes her happy. That being said, let's please get back to posting rare pictures.

Think by now she has long hair, but still uses extensions/wigs to make it fuller.

That short hair is her natural hair, and thickness.

She does have form when it comes to randomly cutting her hair off when she isn't working. I don't mind the early 90's short hair but I don't think that it suits her now at all. I guess it would be quite practical when you are caring for someone who is ill and looking after 3 kids at the same time though. Also makes a good disguise.
