I'd say it's from ANHDC, he hair is really dark and that was the only time! After that is was much lighter. If IAGLTOW and YAI were recorded in 2004, she would have had the blonde hair while recording it.

That's right Davey! The only footage we have of Céline recording in the studio something of the OH album are those extracts of IDAN (which I still think that was the only song recorded in 2003 for the Chrysler campaign) shown in the DVD "One Year/One Heart". The rest of the album recording is a mystery, that they only showed IDAN scenes and to me that's very suspicious to say the least

but you can read about how she recorded the song "naked" in For Keeps. And Peer Astrom said that while Celine was recording IDAN she had a cold as a few days before she was shooting a video somewhere at a lake and it was damn cold and she had to record IDAN for Chrysler that day because they were running out of time (I suppose that was the shoot for the chrysler commercial with RC at the lake)

Yep, in october 2002 she already had lightened her hair for the second part of the ANDHC promotion, when she visited Paris an began the Las Vegas rehearsals in La Louviere. I guess she recorded IDAN sometime after that in october/november.

The album A New Day Has Come was recorded in Montreal and Florida, right? I'll try to solve the mystery of One Heart tomorrow in the morning. Stay tunned and keep an eye on my blog (bellow my signature) as I've just posted a list of where and when she recorded her songs between 1987 and 1999. I'll post the rest tomorrow.

 

By the way, I think that the rumors about the song I Know What Love Is being recorded in 1999 are not true as all the songs she recorded that year were recorded at Paradise Sounds in Florida, and IKWLI was recorded at Digital Insight in Las Vegas.

Jav and I made a list once on which song of ANDHC and OH was recorded where, but I can't find it anymore. Very cool information, where did you find all those places?

 

It can be very true IKWLI is recorded in Las Vegas, if I remembered well, it was recorded (as a demo?) for ATW, but for OH it was re recorded none the less....

 

btw I see you used that MHWGO add I posted in the Titanic thread

That track was rumoured back then, together with Would I know.

The task of finding out where she actually recorded each song is sometimes confusing. You have to pay attention where it says "Vocals recorded at" or "Lead Vocals recorded at" and not just when it says "recorded by/at", because that refers usually to the music only (arrangements, mixing etc), but not the voice.

 

One song of One Heart that it clearly belongs to the ANDHC sessions to me is Forget Me Not. The ANDHC album was mainly recorded in the Piccolo Studios in Montreal, and while most of the songs in OH are credited to be recorded in the Echo Beach Studios (Florida) and Digital Insight (Las Vegas), this song was recorded in Montreal.
