Lets bombared 1067 lite fm with requests.

I kno.... all of you think ALone and Taking Chances are officially dead by now. I still think that her tour will revitalize sales here in the US and besides, the cd has done better worldwide than Whoriah's cd will ever do. As a listener of 106.7 lite fm, they always use to play Celine's oldies and Taking chances was at number one at their station for weeks. Alone was number 13 two weeks ago and then it dissappeared from the playlist till today when it was number 74 next to "because You Loved Me." That gave me an idea and I told all my friends to send requests to the station for Taking Chances and ALone. I also told them to write at least a smalll note to the station asking why they have been so bad to celine's new album when they always played a New A Day.

Thanks you all, I want people to listen to celine's new stuff and the only way to do it thanks to stupid sony and how they haven't promoted her, is to do it ourselves. Now that I got a flood of people from other forums helping me request I wanted to see if this forum could shock the station. hehe

But how do you still think that Taking Chances and Alone can have some airplay? . Both these songs didn't work because Céline released again as single more COVERED songs, and people from the radios/audience got tired of that

 

Alone single was a flop because there was any need of a Céline Dion version of that song and much less, select it as a single for radio (this stated by Chuck Taylor ). So people had been asking for the original version by Heart, not Céline.

 

Things would be different with other album original new tracks, like Fade Away or Can't Fight The Feelin...

 

However I will send the request, though I doubt it works

Hey John I'm also a huge fan of lite FM. They have been GREAT to Celine. They played TC over and over again, and even gave Alone a try when most other stations didn't even bother. Let's not be negative to Life Fm, they are all we have left. lol. We can ask them to continue playing TC, forget about Alone it's useless.

Even in England the radio stations hardly ever play celine's songs and if they do it is only a couple of her old songs. I think it is really wrong and they should do more to promote Celine, not only in the U.S but all over the world.
