Renewing your TEAMCELINE has its advantages

Anybody read that on Cd.com today? I nearly spit out my coffee! I do love how they are treating "The Collectors Series, Volume I" like it's a treasure trove of rarities---it was released in 2000 and any real Celine fan already has it! Especially if they feel obligated to be a fan club member for $40 a year!

There's my rant, but I'm the fool for renewing haha!

It sadly does feel like wasted money, but I do enjoy just being able to say that I'm a member. LOL Weird, but I'm sure there are others out there who are renewing "just because", too. I've been a loyal member since 2001. And no, I do not want to think about what I could have been doing with that money instead of giving it to Celine. ha ha ha

The fan club is an utter joke. I'm very happy that I was able to attend the taping of That's Just The Woman In Me even though I wasn't a TeamCeline member at the time. However, something as special as that moment really should have been reserved for TeamCeline members only. At least then the club would seem like something worthy of throwing $40.00 down for. What a crock. :giggle:

Haha... love it.

I only renewed for the ticket presales and the contests. I didn't know at the time there would be a two ticket limit and no contests (unless you were in NY or CA to attend tapings at the beginning of the year). But luckily I renewed for three years for $50 before they changed the prices to $40 a year -- insane. :rolleyes:

It was worth it when she was in Vegas with the ticket presales/discounts (for more than two tickets!!) as well as discounts in the boutique... now, not so much. :ermm:

I spend more time here on Celine Forum then on I do on TeamCeline...I too am a member and have been for awhile. Updates here are better...I would rather donate my $40 a year to the Koolan and Bellamy to help keep the Forum going.... :wub:

They never do cool stuff anymore...I already have that CD, and whatever happened to the monthly little "what-nots" they used to send out like ummmm 4 years ago. I used to get birthday cards that looked like they were from Celine, and post cards and all kinds of neat little things. They don't send nothing now! :glare:

well what bugs me the most now, is that there are no contests at all!! with AND there was a meet and greet, travel money etc! you can't tell me that was only possible cos of Ceasars Palace! :glare:

the least they could do now, is to make contest for people to be able to meet Céline in their own country or continent :glare:

For real, Davey...would it KILL them or Celine to meet just like 10 fans before each show for a meet n greet? No. They could have a contest for that for each show. 10 people isn't that many. -_-

It is frustrating... the ticket limit still disappoints me, but I've excepted there's nothing we can do. I am shocked - well, I shouldn't say I'm too shocked, that there haven't been any contests AT ALL. The best they've got so far is a Best of 2007 contest, stage peices, and now a CD from eight years ago, if you renew for $40? :glare:

I'm disappointed, but I haven't met a fan yet who is a satisfied member. :confused:

I think it was from her in the sense that it was how she felt, what she thought. I'm sure it was written from an interview of some sort - call me a wishful thinker. But if you're right -- and they are now putting her name on things she does not write/say --- that's infuriating. :angry2: I want to believe they haven't lost all hope. :down:

Yeah does anybody know what's going on with meet and greets for the tour has there or is there going to be any? Aren't they making a fan thing for the DVD again surely these people would have had a meet and greet? :shrug: this is my favourite thing about TeamCeline all this info we don't get :doh:

I didn't renew, I may chnage my mind later on. I mean she's toured now that was the main advantage. Plus that bloody free gift was what was given out last time!

That kills me too...I renewed just for tickets, and only could buy two. I have 2 more shows I need tickets to, but haven't bought yet because of the stupid TC thing... :huh:
