There was a performance of MHWGO from a tv show where celine's voice got raspy and really gave it a raw emotion that was so great. Anyone know where that performance is from?

Uhm.. there are many.. The one that comes to Mind is Larry King Live, 2002.

"...It's the circle of life. You gotta look forward. Two days during the year there's nothing you can do about: yesterday and tomorrow. Today is a great day." - Celine Dion, People.

I think the children's day (I think that's what it was) preformance was the best. When she did that duet with Josh Groban afterword

Do you really love that part ? She was off pitch and was ... well terrible. :whistling: But hey who knows. Sometimes I like this kind of notes too.

I absolutely love those notes... when her voice breaks at a powerful part of the song and she goes all hoarse... Fantastic! Sometimes I prefer it to the crystal clear sharp high notes!

I think there is a performance of All By Myself were something similar happens!

Yeah, the hoarseness definitely adds something to the song!

To be honest, I actually like the nasality of Celine's voice. I admit that sometimes it can be too much. But, the nasality is a characterisitic of Celine's voice and when I hear it, just like when I hear the throaty whispers, or the FC accent, or huge belting notes, I'm reminded that Celine is singing and not just some other singer... and it makes me smile uncontrollably!! Am I weird?

almost, but not quite. i understand that u have grown to love her voice, no matter how it sounds. ^_^ but i guess her nasality really ruins the song itself. that's the #1 reason why i am not impressed with ALONE.
