i don't actually see what's so original about David Cook. i mean, he's a great performer, but AI's Bo Bice has already established his position as the rocker "idol". they have the female rocker (kelly clarkson), country (carrie underwood), rnb male (ruben studdard), rnb female (jordin sparks), soul (fantasia) and blues (taylor hicks). archuleta's smooth dramatic way of delivering ballads, his looks, and unmistakeable charm (not to mention he's just 17) is definitely his ticket to stardom.

David Cook, defanitly. David Archuleta does the same song pretty much every week. Also, when he tries to do more "modern" songs(like With You), it sounds very akward. He doesn't have much versatality(though he does have a very good vhoice). David Cook defanitly does both ballads and rock songs wonderfully, and he should defanitly win. Sadly i doubt it because the judges didn't really give him better reviews than Archuleta. And it always seems people vote for whoever the judges seem is the right winner (Just something i've picked up on while watching it for the last 2 seasons). It's just really cool how this year is SUCH a hard decision

 

LOL Last year i didn't even watch it.. i knew Jordin would win. That wasn't even a contest after Melinda left

for some reason, i noticed David Cook is becoming overconfident. he is great, but he should not win this time. Archuleta is a very humble lad. thank God for Simon. he can teach Cook not to let his fame get in her head.
