ALONE: Teary and Emotional Perforamance

Apologies if this is a topic repeat; sorry.

I came across this video of Alone which I think may have been broadcasted in China? The performance is absolutely heartbreaking Celine is really struggling with it and her fans can clearly feel her pain also

Does anybody know why she was so emotional about this particular performance of Alone was it her father maybe? The presenter speaks at the end but it's not in English so not sure if what she's saying is in regards to the emotional attachment to the song.

But just thought I'd share, it's really sad :teary:

So sorry I feel like such an idiot I didn't pay any attention to the background at all I was just focused on her quivering face the whole time  . It's a bit of an odd song to dedicate to her father though isn't it?

:( I remember watching this for the first time. I didn't watch the video that went before, nor did I pay attention to the background, so I like, flipped out when I saw a tear roll down her face, and my heart broke for her. http://www.extremereba.com/forum/images/smiles/heartbeat.gif

I didn't even expect it to be about her father of all things.. you'd think she'd do "MHWGO" for that .. hmmm anyway it is very sad :(

I can't imagine losing a dad :(

When I see her cry, it helps me think she's human. Like even though celebrities are known by people worldwide and idolized, they are still real people. And crying is sometimes a very good thing. However, that being said, I am sad to know that others are in pain. It just depends on why someone is crying. And also, it's a very brave thing to show your emotion in public. Personally, from what I hear on TV and in bootlegs, she seems tired. I just hope she has enough in her to go out on a high note.
