So i have jsut arrived bac kform the concert... met Michel celines brother before she arrived.. she was running late so she didnt stop.. but got a pic taken with him. Celine was once again amazin 2nite.. she sang i think pretty much the same as the other shows and she looked amazin.. However the audience were awful.. most disrespective audience i have ever seen in my life i am actually ragin at them.. only once thru the whole concert they stood up and that was wen celine had to pretty much drag them up.. i got shouted at 4 times for even tryin.. they sat with their arms folded as thou they were watchin her on the tv.. They didnt even stand or cheer when she first came out!!! awful.. I think the people of buffalo need a personality transplant!!

After the show i ran round the back of the arena but she was pulling away with police escort.. not even a window down or anything.. i wouldnt blame her.. the igorant ppl who didnt even stand up and cheer!!! It is so Rude!!!

Sorry i have ranted but i cant believe it.. my manchester show the audeience stood for the whole 2 hours!!

Very weird. I think this ignorant reaction of audiences happens too frequent in this world tour. I think there may be something wrong. It seems they got free tickets. If they buy tickets, why do they have to be lifeless like that?

I don't know how the audiences' reaction in FIY and LTAL tour were. Anybody confirm?

Too bad about the audience. Buffalo is a quiet/boring city and the people are quite reserved. I attended university there, if I was still around, I probably would've went to the concert. Oh well, looks like I didn't miss much.

Lou555: I doubt it was sold out.

How was her voice before the boring audience?

That's really sad... sounds even worse than on some shows in Germany... In Germany the audience was often pretty quiet and many of them were sitting most of the time but they were not THAT disregarding....

My answer for that would be: too many shows. Of course we, real fans, are happy about maaany concerts and about being able to attend as many of them as we can! ;) But it's obvious that the more shows she's giving the more random people will be there who just won the tickets, received them as gift or maybe even bought them but just to be able to put in their CV: "I've seen Céline Dion live, one of the biggest artists in the world". I know there are tons of people like this, they just go to gigs to have something to talk about among their friends and co-workers, maybe something to show off with but nothing more than that...

Hope Céline is not getting to sad while seeing such ignorant, lifeless crowds...

That's too bad that the audience was so horrible. I hope that's not what the whole US tour will be like. The audiences in Toronto and Montreal were great, so if there are crappy audiences at the other shows I go it...I'll get really mad!

Oh wow. But I guess Celine knows

Not to take it to heart. She is a professional and while I amsure she herself enjoys the show more if people are into it, she is ok.

That is such a shame about the audience....why go to a concert and sit down? I really hope Celine doesn't take them on and that she's got tons more fans that are crazy about her.

That aside, can't wait for more reviews ^_^

Too bad about the audiance... However, I don't think it has anything to do with Celine or her show. It happens in many parts of the world and at many concerts. I guess we, as a human race, are getting to lazy and fat to be able to go crazy at concerts :giggle: Some of us do it, but there's always that person behind your back that keeps pulling you on the sleeve to sit down, cause they're too lazy to get up. This seems to happen to everyone on the forum sooner or later... But... yeah... some places are worse than others. I thought the Vegas or Vienna crowd were bad, but it never happened not to be standing up and cheering hard at least when she comes on stage. Bad Buffalo people, bad!

This is exactly the reason why i dont like seated concerts. Amsterdam and Antwerp were great thank god but if I had a choice I would never

attend one ever again. In Holland almost all concerts normally have free standing on the field which I prefer anyways. The whole queueing

up thing all day long is a lot of fun and that way the die hard fans get front row. It must be harder for her to give her all when she doesnt get anything back from the crowd. I really hope she wont have too many of these kinda shows. She doesnt deserve it.

Yeah that really sucks when you go to a show and the audience is so lifeless.

Sometimes I think this occurs more on the weekday shows since people have to go to work/school the next day.

The Montreal show I went to was on a Monday and the crowd was pretty reserved although there were still some standing ovations and excitement. And overall the crowd was older so that may have something to do with it.

But this being said I still don't understand how people pay all of this money to a show and just want to sit there like they are at home watching television. Why not just get some of her DVD's if you want to do that?

I could understand this more in Vegas because you a wider variety of people attending her shows. Some people just wanted to go to "the" popular show and it was not always true Celine fans. But I would think the people going to see her on this tour would be more of her real fans.

I think people are so used to sitting at home with their flat screen tv's and DVD players and not having to do anything anymore. They don't want to participate in anything so when they go to these arenas they just think of it as a bigger living room, especially now since most of the events and shows like Celine's have monitors all over the place. I'm not against this, since they help if you have bad seats but people are so used to not having to do anything!

I also get upset when I hear that some people were being told to sit down by people in back of them at the show. I guess people want to be couch potatoes. :giggle:

Hey when Celine was in Beefalo, I hope she was able to the Anchor Bar. It's where hot wings were first made famous and supposedly invented. :msn-tongue:
