are you sure? cause i do believe that concert was filmed before TCOML album was released (1993), and the video was officialy released in 1995.

 

I don't know when it was filmed (probably 1994), but surely it was released on 1995 (it has copyright of that year) and the cover belongs to her performances for that concert in Capitol theater, in Quebec

It was filmed on September 7, 1993 and September 8, 1993 at Le Théàtre Capitole, Quebec City, Canada (long before The Colour of My Love album release and The Colour of My Love Tour). I think that is confusing, they are misleading the TV special with the concert she did in Quebec on the Capitol theater, which is completely different

 

I think that quote refers to the date when the TV special was aired, not the DVD concert

was just listening to A new day has come collectors edition and whilst listening to The greatest reward i noticed that it is a longer edit with an extra chorus sang in a different way than before ,it goes into the last chorus. i listened to my normal cd after and i was right. i carnt belive i havent noticed before. has anybody else noticed? listen and you will see (sometying extra also with this cd lol)

When we will have more unreleased songs from this album, when she recorded about 28? (I hope they're not in the OH tracklist ).

i guess it's not a US-only version. we have it here in the Philippines.

If I had to choose which album I'd like to see turned into a "Collector's Edition" next I'd pick Unison without hesitation. I'd include the original 10 tracks completely remastered, plus add in the "Single Mix" of "Unison" and a previously unreleased track from that time period. Then, I'd add in a collector's DVD complete with all the music videos from that era, the interview from the VHS tape, and the entire Wintergarden concert. It's a dream, but that's what I'd do.

That's a fabulous idea! I'd be sooooo happy if it happened, but knowing Sony it will only be a dream... I guess they are keeping the rare unreleased tracks and special editions of albums until Celine retires or leaves them.

IMHO, the only albums that scream for a remastering treatment are Celine Dion and Let's Talk About Love (i really hate the high bass/less treble quality of this album). You have to wonder why Sony bother with cheap re-releases of old Celine albums when they have this "Live In Memphis" screaming to be released on DVD which everyone actually wants to buy!! Only Sony lol.

I totally agree, Unison is her first album and the most mistreated album in her career with Sony, both by Sony and Céline herself too . This album is gorgeous, Céline's rockish songs in that album are just great

And I'm sure that concert had to be recorded in that moment, same as they captured the audio (and what amazing quality of audio it has!). It was a very important moment for her in her career and surely they record every performance its done on that stage.

 

They don't know what they are missing without releasing this À L'Olympia concert, because it is the best concert she has ever done, vocally talking Her voice was at the highest top that year

I'd love a Unison Collectors Edition with all the ealry music videos! Cos let's face it if they decide to release another English music videos DVD during her break like they did in 2001 with ATW, then I doubt they'd bother with the really early ones as it's something only true fans/ collectors would want.
