I'm starting to think that it wasn't released as a single... I've checked some lists and "Shadow of love" isn't mentioned in the lists.

 

It's been from 2003 when she hit the Belgian charts with a song (Drove all night / One heart & tout l'or et les hommes)...

Alone plays a lot too in Quebec, it's the #9 in the radio top 10

its a terrible shame that sony have not released a viable single with proper club mixes to support the european tour......This was the golden opportunity for a summer song dance hit ...be it a revamped eyes on me/shadow of love /fade away/ cant fight the feeling or surprise surprise.....hopefully their inability to successfully market the Taking Chances cd will be their final insult to Celine and Rene ......surely to god any other record company would have managed this better?? i hope Rene is planning a swift exit from sony

Shadow of Love is one of the strongest tracks on the album, and one of my personal favs... I hope it's the fourt UK single

haha its funny - im reading a reeeeally interesting book at the moment - that one by carl wilson, "let's talk about love, a journey to the end of taste" and it talks about where celines music is reeeeally popular - and its places like isreal and the middle east, iraque etc, its really weird, they love her music over there. It explains that its quite comforting for them as they live in war torn countries etc.

 

(but yeh everyone should read this book - so good) its investigating why celines music is soooo loved and sooooo hated by people. He is not a fan and he chose her coz she is his most annoying singer (well almost) and you can see him starting to understand through out the book.
