What was it like meeting Celine?

I remember what it was like to see her in front of me..........she's so stunning!

 

I cant imagine what it would be like to meet her, and I dont know what I would say to her, if I would even be able to speak, which I highly doubt!!!!!!

I got the chance to speak with Celine in Manchester, after her Friday night show. She was in the car so I went up and just started to talk to her in French. It was amazing! Celine looked right into my eyes and it felt like time stopped! She is such a warm and loving person She really does care about her fans and loves us with all her heart. She makes you feel so important. After speaking with her a became an even bigger fan, and I didn't think that was possible! I would love the chance to really sit down and meet with her....gotta have dreams....but I'm getting closer

It was so exciting to meet her- it was so surreal...after the Rockefeller Xmas Show taping, my BF and I were was lost downstairs in the concourse looking for a bathroom and some Dunkin' Donuts coffee and, oh my goodness- i ran into CELINE!!! She was leaving the Swarovski Crystal store! My friend and I must have stared at each other for about 10 seconds before we realized what was happening and dove for our cameras! She was so kind- she stopped and posed for a photo with me and my best friend. Then I finally went to the bathroom, after- There she was again!! Sitting and chatting with her assistant. I walked up to her body guard and he brought me to her and she graciously gave me an autograph on the Christmas CD I brought with me.

 

Truly a moment I will never forget. I hope everyone gets the chance!

You all saw my meet and greet on the DVD...it's like many others said...time stops...everything else, the dozens of people, all the camera's it just disappears and all you see are those eyes OMG...and all you can do is trying to blah blah some answers on her questions...it was amazing and I'll will never ever forget that moment. I'm so lucky to have it captured on the DVD

IT is amazing to meet celine,but in my opinion for days after, you dont stop thinking about it, and wish you could turn the clock back, as it happens so fast,and is over before u know it!!! i have the celine bug,and want to meet her again!! he he... i should not be so greedy i know!

I loved reading your stories, and it is my GREATEST dream as well. I am an only child and my Mom is an alchoholic, so Celine has been like a big sister/role model for me since I was 6 years old and I am now nearly 22. I am going to the Columbus, Cleaveland, and Detroit shows.

 

My question is..does anyone have any advice on HOW to meet her? How do you get to the right place at the right time? Is there a way to know which hotel she's staying in? It sounds like hotels before or after the show is the key.

 

Any advice you have to help me meet Celine would be greatly appreciated. I actually bought the Hot Seat package for the Detroit show, which includes the sound check, but I read that it is a group of 40 people and you don't get to meet Celine.

i knew which 2 hotels Celine and her team were staying because of the ads had the list of sponsors on it. a friend told us the exact hotel but i somewhat guessed which was it cuz one was more posh than the other. good luck trying to meet her Deborah

and I was so honoured and fortunate to meet Celine three times over two days during her stay here. She is outstanding,

so peaceful and awsome to be with. She is caring and considerate. What a wonderful person. Her shows were out of this world,

she is a wonderful performer that is hard to be beaten. I also met her husband Rene, her brother Michael, Rene's son Patrick from a previous marriage, as well as some of her dancers, band members and Mary Lou, Elize Dugay and Barnev her singers. They too are wonderful

individuals with no pretentions. They were all to happy to have their pictures taken with me.

I am very lucky indeed.

such nice stories. i hope i get to meet her one day. it seems like a lot of people stay in the lowry when they perform in manchester. some friends of mine met another favourite singer of mine when she was staying there. i missed it though as i had to go to hospital that day. oh well, our times will come!
