How did you make the selections for Celine Dion: For Keeps? I went back through my personal and professional life and looked for things that stood out in my mind...things that touched my heart...moments that made a big difference in my journey...precious keepsakes. Which memento in the book pulled the most at your heartstrings? What other emotions were evoked as you sorted through your memorabilia? There are a lot of mementos that pulled at my heartstrings, so I can't pick just one. Obviously, anything to do with my mom and dad, and my sisters and brothers growing up has special meaning to me...there are some great early photos of my family together, growing up in Quebec. And all the photos of my son and husband, are very dear to me. As for going through the memorabilia, well it's like going down memory lane...each time I came across an item, it took me back to that special moment in my life, and the emotion that I felt at that time. Celine Dion: For Keeps and its mementos underscore your many successes in life, from home to career to charitable work. What would you say has given you the most fulfillment and why? In my professional life I couldn't pinpoint one aspect that would be the most fulfilling... there are so many moments, but definitely the most fulfilling aspect of my personal life has been the birth of my son Rene-Charles. What was your favourite part of working on Celine Dion: For Keeps? There were a few things that stood out. Working with the author Jenna was a lot of fun. We spent many nights up until 3 and 4am talking and laughing about the stories that came to mind. She's really nice.
