"Ma vie mon rêve" interesting facts

Hello guys!!!

 

A few weeks ago I posted a post on the collectors session asking if anyone knew what was the edition of "ma vie mon rêve" that has some parts of when Céline was pregnant of Rene-Charles etc. Making a long story short... I finally found out about it - and all the editions after 2000 - when the first one was released.. - they have that part.

 

I just got mine like a week ago and I read it. Very nice!!!

 

Some interesting facts:

 

a. When Celine was pregnant of René-Charles, I think 5-6 months, René had an final appointment to the doctors to do a

 

check-in to know if the cancer was gone etc. They both were very nervous and René didn't want to talk to anyone. Céline went

 

with him to support him and she was there, in the same room. René was in those machines that we can only see the feet of the

 

person. She couldn't move. She was nervous and she was thinking about what René was telling her or was thinking of ... that if

 

he were stil sick that now, they had a child to "replace" him, a child that would make Céline happy. Of course, she was

 

pregnant and she was over sensitive - it's natural, it's normal, every pregnant woman is like that. They went back home and

 

they went to their room without talking to anyone - Linda and Allan were preparing dinner. They locked the door and they

 

stayed together for a long time waiting for the call from the doctor. The doctor said he would call at night. They wait 6,7,8PM

 

and nothing. They cried together for a long time. During that time Celine and Rene thought that the doctors found out

 

something very serious and they didn't know how to tell them that etc...

 

Finally the doctor called and said the good news - Rene was okay, everything was okay. Céline and René went to the kitchen

 

where Allan and Linda were;;;; They were in tears and Linda and Allan didn't know what was happening..... - they probably

 

were so scared... then Céline and René finally told them the good news.

 

 

PS: In the book, Céline "uses" words like 'desperately' 'revolted' - she says that in the begging when they found out Rene had cancer she couldn't accept that, she was really mad and revolted.

 

b. Also when Celine was pregnant people want to see pictures of her. She says that there were paparazis everywhere at her

 

house here in Montreal - in Rosemère and in the island. (the castle). She says that there were helicopters everywhere and that

 

an american or quebecer mag offer 50,000 dollars for a photo of her. She was very mad and she felt like she was a prison of

 

her own. She decided to stay at home most of the time - inside - and she was really very disturbed by that. She says that her

 

pregnancy was something very personal for her and she didn't want to share her very personal moments with others. She

 

could understand that the fans want to see her... but she couldn't agree and deal with the 'circus' that was created around her

 

pregnancy. Then, René talked to the media and said that Céline wants to rest in peace at her own house etc and that was when

 

they stopped following her and she could go out more often without being disturbed by photographers.

 

 

c. In the beginning it was hard to Anne-Marie to deal with the presence of Céline. She was just a little girl at that time - 10-11

 

years old when they started to be together. And Celine was the one who was taking away her father from her mother.

 

Anne-Marie was always very sweet and never showed anything. And also because of Celine, Rene was often in the road,

 

traveling with Céline. Over the years they became great friends!!! They adore each other very much.

The German Version, what i have, is from 2001. And this Version have those Parts already.

I think I've read those too. But I read Chinese version, so maybe that's why.

I never knew she felt her pregnancy was personal, she shared so many details, which was great ..I understand about the media though, that's horrible with the helicopters and stuff! Maybe next time she should just release a few photos or something and they'd leave her alone? I dunno.

I have "My story, my dream" but still I haven't read it. Lol. I was so busy maybe this Sunday will work. Anyway, the only thing that gets my attention while reading the post is the helicopter on her house. wasn't nice.
