why is the philippines not included on the TC world tour?

you guys have any idea why the philippines has not been included on the world tour? philippines is one big celine dion fan base and i just dont understand why she skipped doin a concert here.

its unfair.

icons such as the beatles, michael jackson, mariah carey, christina aguilera. andrea bocceli and such has had their concerts here for the past years and considering celine dion not droppin by is a big disappointment.

Manila is too busy negotiating with the likes of Madonna, U2 and Justin Timberlake to bother with Celine.

 

However, Celine did meet 2 Filipino promoters when she was in Macau. Who knows, if her team keeps its promise to go back to China next year, Manila just might snag a date.

I wonder why too why she didn't get by here and have some piece of concert.Philippines loves her music and Celine. Anyway, yes it's true. The two Filipinos she met is from ovation production. A concert promoter base of what I've read on newspaper here. I also think the same way, that as her Team keeps their promise to go back to shanghai. I do hope that Philippines will be included. Definitely, I'll get the first row seat since it's once in a lifetime.

the concert organizers from each respective country needs to hand in some sort of proposal. they'll also need enough money to bring the artist in, a proper place for the concert and whatnots. but the decision whether to have a concert or not still lies with Celine and her management. i was surprised Celine skipped Singapore (usually Singapore gets favoured over Malaysia for they have everything on that tiny lil island). apparently the Singaporean sponsors didnt manage to get enough money

I'm pretty sure Singapore probably did bid for Céline to come over to Singapore, but Malaysia paid a LOT to get her here, and I mean A LOT! When I first heard it, I was dumbfounded by the value of it. I can't say how much for sensitive reasons, but it's definitely more than USD1mil, that's for sure.

 

Like what's been mentioned, money talks in this business. If you have the dough, you'll get the bid. No money, no talk.

Talking about money, I have a question about the Monaco concerts. How can the promoter pays more than 1million for each concert when the venue seats only 960 each night? I don't know the ticket prices but they are unlikely to exceed US$1,000

maybe Monaco is an exception cuz like you said, it only seats 960 a night. its rather unfair to the promoters if they have to pay a lot more for such a small space. perhaps the more than USD1mil is for large stadium concerts, only the concert promoters know

Yes im going to see her at Munich,22nd of June.Thank you I am wondering why Celine will go to Turkey...After all her fanbase there is too low .(Many of them don't know who is Celine)
