Any reason why MGM makes that 90-minute rule?

I don't understand...

Can you rephrase your question, please?

Why does MGM state a show's duration must not exceed 90 minutes?

LOL! It's just a rule... no show can be longer than 90 minutes. So that means everyone who performs there, including Céline, has to cut the show to 90 minutes.

OK, but I'm just curious why it is so.

What is the reason of such rule? Honestly, it's ultra weird to me...

Well there may be a curfew, or they want to have the concert goers also do other stuff while they're there... There could be various reasons.

Anyway, were all the attendants aware of that fact??

I wouldn't like to go to the show, with conviction that the show will be like 2 hours and in fact it'd be half an hour shorter...

I was searching on the Internet about this rule, but I can't find anything on that...

They keep the show at 90 minutes because they want the people back in the casino, many of the Atlantic City hotels do the same.

Was the stage the same setup in the middle of the venue?

Regarding there being a "90 Minute" Time Limit at MGM Grand in Connecticut.

I saw Gloria Estefan at that venue in May. She was the first person to perform there when it opened. She was on for an hour and 41 minutes.

I also saw Bryan Adams & Foreigner play at MGM Grand in July and that show was well over two hours, close to two and a half.

While it's clear that some artists do cut shows short at certain casino theatres, I don't think it's a rule that they have to do so.
