Eyes On Me

Not only is this song the best song on Taking Chances, but it's also one of the best upbeat songs Celine has *ever* recorded. When I first got my Taking Chances CD, I couldn't listen to the rest of the CD for a week because I kept playing Eyes On Me over and over. It's so incredibly young and it's like a breath of fresh air. Celine sings it wonderfully, and this song is just destined to become a huge Top 10 hit. It could've been a huge hit in England with a proper music video, but Sony basically just released it there and totally forgot about it. If they could just make a hip music video(I posted an idea for an EOM music video a while back), and released it worldwide, it'd do well. Celine could go on a few talk shows, maybe. I know she's busy with the tour, but she can do a couple of short 5-10 minute interviews on some talk shows in Europe/North America. If that could be done, Eyes On Me could be an amazing success. It deserves to be the next single, because it could truly show the world that Celine does more than big love ballads(Fade Away could do this, too).

I mean there have been a lot of up-tempo songs...

I mean "Love Is All We Need" for example...

I do agree that it is a great song, just not the *best* on Taking Chances

It should have been bigger, and the next single here in the states. They could have made a killer video for it!, but Coulda Woulda Shoulda...

I agree,this is one of my fav's on the album and i wanted it to be a (proper!) single too. Trouble is we could talk about how sony neglected this single in the UK all day but nothing will change them. :angry: :tongue1:
