Celine has received a 2008 MTV Japan Video Music Awards nomination! Celine's duet version of "A World To Believe In", recorded with Japanese superstar Yuna Ito, is nominated in the 'Best Collaboration Video' category. The 2008 MTV Japan Video Music Awards will be held at the Saitama Super Arena on May 31, 2008. Congratulations Celine!!

She made a $ 100.000 video clip for Taking Chances.... with a great outcome (not saying it's the best video ever but still) and now she gets a nomination for a stupid low budget instudio video that was probably shoot in less then an hour! :doh: :doh: I believe that just because there's a Japanese girl singing with her, this video was nominated! :nono:

I know the nineties and hit singles and big awards are kinda over for Céline now.... but this just makes me feel sorry for her :confused: It's nice to get all the legend/life time/carreer overview awards..but damn she's only 40!! Not 80!! :glare: If she doesn't get a real award, or is nominated in categories that matter, don't do it at all, and don't invite her for some stinkin made up achievement award, just so you can have the name Celine Dion on the attendents list :sick: -_-
