I doubt if Celine earns money from ticket sales. I believe only tickets sales are not enough for all expenses. Sponsors must be involved.

So I think $7million are not what Celine actually gets.

She's getting paid between $1M and $1.5M per concert.

Well, that wasn't what I read. Caesar's return on investment came from fans who rented their rooms, ate at their restaurants and lost money at their casino.

Of course she does.... she's getting almost nothing for her album sales, but these days concerts are the artists biggest income (for the bigger artists anyway).

So I think $7million are not what Celine actually gets.

The 7 million is just the gross sales from the concert. You have to deduct from it:

- Fixed fee for Céline and her entire crew

- Costs for the organisator of the show which includes: tickets, publicity, rental for the concert hall, fees for the stage, PA, video, etc...

- Taxes (21% in Belgium)

After this you will get a sum where Céline will receive a certain percentage from plus the fixed fee.

The amount at the end is the profit of the show... Which will not be 7 million. At most probably a million or less.

She is indeed working hard during the tour. You may not underestimate her performances on stage, regardless she is lipping or not...

Ofcourse there are others who work harder than Céline does and there are a lot of them during the tour (yes, including the technician who needs to deal with the play/pauze button and the volume).
