Halfway to Heaven, one of her bests ever!

 

strange that my 'celine dion' cd has Where Does My Heartbeat Now as its track 14... still afraid that my copy is the pirate version cause WDMHBN is not even on the lyrics/booklet... sad sad sad...

WDHMBN was a bonus track on a lot of albums! I think wasn't nescesary! The European version has WDMHBN on it too :)

It was a tough one since it's an amazing album with fantastic songs... Still I chose Halfway To Heaven because of the mysterious atmosphere, great smooth vocals and the classy saxophone.

so hard to choose only one. I chose "With this tear" because I find it incredibly moving. But I really love most of the songs in this album. That's why I really don't quite gete "Taking Chances", I prefer the old Celine, with this kind of albums

This is my favorite Celine album, so it's sooooooo hard to choose for me.

 

That's why I voted for:

Love can move mountains (love the gospel choir, great lyrics, up-beat)

If you asked me to (so beautiful)

If you could see me now (so much pain)

If I were you (so sweet!!!)

I love you, goodbye (so much pain...)

Water from the moon (so much emotion)

With this tear (so much pain again)

Nothing broken but my heart (so much... pain)

 

These songs ask to be sung with so much emotion. And that's what Céline gives here. LOVE IT!

Not an album I listen to very oftern (though I agree that is perhaps one of her best).

I voted for Water From The Moon. Again, don't listen to it much these days but ten years ago I played it constantly. It was definitely one of my favourites.

It was my first English album (actually, All The Way was the first, but that's half compilation) and though I prefer her French stuff, I like this one very much. For me, her voice was at its best these times (not that raw any more and extremely clear and fresh). My favourite song is... well, there are two: Halfway to heaven and Nothing broken but my heart. Since I have to choose one: ok, Halfway to heaven.
