Say What? Posted March 27, 2008 at 06:27 PM Posted March 27, 2008 at 06:27 PM For crying out loud! The single Taking Chances has now been moved to the AC recurrent airplay chart, which means it's an old song that is not charting on the current playlist. The song is out of the only chart that has supported Celine and now there's NO follow up singles to be found. Ordinarily a record company has a second single ready on the back burner waiting to be released when a current single is falling down the chart. Well not for Celine. Her move from Epic Records to Colombia Records has proven she's not to be supported anymore. Go figure!
CSCfan Posted March 27, 2008 at 06:33 PM Posted March 27, 2008 at 06:33 PM Probably still negotiating about "Eyes On Me".... Or René wants like 99,9% to 0,1%.. »»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»» MATHIAS ««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzPrxI0AIDY

PrincesseJen Posted March 27, 2008 at 06:46 PM Posted March 27, 2008 at 06:46 PM Well, he's talking solo about singles here in the US. You'd think they would put something out by now. There are lots of good songs on the album so what can't they get they're act together?! http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z30/Sarahj21230/Celine%20and%20Josh/pinkroseCeline-1.jpg

Davey84 Posted March 27, 2008 at 10:24 PM Posted March 27, 2008 at 10:24 PM Mayyyyyyybe Columbia forgot that they released this album in the USA, but Epic did, so they are thinking that Epic are releasing the singles of Céline... so therefore they aint doing anything! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v75/daveyh84/incognito198701_zpsaaootxh1.jpgRick, ik hou van jou voor altijd!A New Day... has come 28/29 April & 2/3 May 07Antwerpen 13 et 14 mai,Paris 24 et 25 mai, Amsterdam 2 juinet Arras 7 juillet Chances Taken!!!How Do You Keep The Music Playing? - Celine Opening Night March 15th, March 16th
Kyle_Jared Posted March 28, 2008 at 12:15 AM Posted March 28, 2008 at 12:15 AM (edited) Surely to god they want the album to sell its potential......but sadly if they wait until it's dead how will they revive it. The industry is fixated on three divas at the moment in North America. ALL with the top three selling songs on Itunes in the States. Leona Lewis "Bleeding Love"--WHICH is brilliant none the less, Madonna ft. Justin Timberlake with "4 minutes" and Mariah Carey's "Touch my body." We can only hope Columbia is looking at what the single "Taking Chances" did chart wise and trying to make the next single choice the BEST possible one or this album will die. Compared to the above mentioned divas, Taking Chances----the single----FLOPPED (Why I dont know, great song!) but none the less they are to blame somewhat for not making it "OFFICIALLY" go for adds at especially HOT AC and POP formats and advertising all over her website to download it on ITUNES....but dont get me started. THEN when Alone was first out in the states and even charted in ITUNES/was on perez hilton, they should have IMMEDIATELY released it and pushed it at radio......but no?? Now, we are close to five months after the album release and over 6 months since the original single release here in North America. PATHETIC. but not surprising. Mariah Carey has a HUGE Single out now and in recent interviews she already knows what the second single will be (which is going to apparantly hit radio in two weeks)....it will explode yet again, and mark my words in three to four weeks her record will be at a million in sales (U.S) ........a figure Taking Chances took 5 months to reach (932,000 in sales as of last week in the U.S). So I dont know what it'll take to wake them up. Maybe they dont care. Maybe its Celine and Rene that should be pushing but the only thing they care about is making money......which they are on this tour.......So I give up? WE can't do their job, its out of our hands. I'd LOVE to see what Clive Davis (Whitney Houston/Leona Lewis Mogul) would do with Celine, now HE's a marketing genius. Edited March 28, 2008 at 12:17 AM by Kyle_Jared

I'd LOVE to see what Clive Davis (Whitney Houston/Leona Lewis Mogul) would do with Celine, now HE's a marketing genius. I know what Clive Davis does... He downloads Leona's and Alicia's songs all day long to make them go to #1!!! Seriously, I really wonder about Bleeding Love going to #1 in the US this week... To me, it doesn't make sense that someone who is unknown in the US outsells all other singles out there. Really something fishy about it... I do like Bleeding Love but I really wonder how honnest Clive Davis' tactics are.
