We saw her use her cell phone both in the AND behind-the-scenes and at her video shoot in NY last spring (I think that was it...)

Yeah, that's the one. The case she was using used to come with the phone, of maybe still does. A friend of mine has the D&G Gold Razr and the same gold slip case.

 

When the phone first came out, it was super pricey, but has subsequently come down in price. I can remember it being around $500 I think, and considering what you're getting, you're really paying for the D&G name, etc. It makes my iPhone seem like a steal of a deal with huge bang for the buck. LOL.

I remember when the gold D&G Motorola Razr was first released. If I am not mistaken, it was first available through Dolce & Gabbana boutiques. I believe it was approximately between $500-$800. Then, in the US, stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus carried it in stock. Eventually, T-Mobile had it available for purchase, but the price had gone down significantly.

i cant stand Motorola phones either. they go haywire after some time

• and a mass-released limited edition that sold from $700-$900, which was sold in Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus, and other luxury centers.

 

As soon as I found out about the phone, a month after the VIP ones were sold out, I purchased one of these. Then, a month later, these pictures of Celine carrying them to her videoshoots in New York were released. The phone was the first thing that caught my attention! HAHA

Celine and Rene both share that phone from time. I think it's Rene's phone.

This phone looks cute. I like the look of many Motorola phonos, I always think they have the best designers concerning the cover of the phone BUT I really hate the "inside" of Motorola phones, hehe, esp. their displays... That's why I never purchased any, even if I loved how they looked like. The display is very important to me as I mainly use my phone for text messages and wanna be able to read everything clearly. I tested a few brands and my absolute fave is Sony Ericsson when it comes to display and battery etc., even if they don't look so cute like the Motorolas.

 

@ Taking_Chances: if you want to share this ringtone with us, would you just post here the link?? I guess they may be a few people interested so why sending it many times via PM when you can post the link once, here?

If you really want to know, put up a few screencaps of it from the A New Day... DVD and I can confirm. The VIP one is gold-plated/black, while the mass-released is gold/silver.

It's definitely NOT the VIP version.
