ONCP video second version

Well is it just me or the second version of the videoclip makes more sense? Not that the idea of the original videoclip is lost but it takes it even further in my opinion. The footages of the girl in the second version are actually for showing how she follows Céline's steps or as a metaphor to Céline herself - it becomes a lot more clearer what the little girl wants to achieve. The snow, the horse, the singing, acting, watching Céline's videoclips are kind of inspiration for her. This missing element is what I find puts the second version a notch higher above the videoclip we all know.

It DOES seem clearer. But i think it'd be cooler if at the end they did the "then and now" thing with Celine's face/eyes.

Yeah, the second one makes more sense to me too. But I love both versions! One of my favorites for sure!!

I like this version, it show that the little girl watching tv, she was watching Celine on T.V and she wanted to be like her. hmmmmm. Does anyone have the video??? i want it??? pls. thx .

I think this video is AWESOME!

 

It's VERY poignant... I must say.

 

And they way they found some of Celine's old classmates to be in the video is just... AWESOME!

I didn't even know there are two versions of the video. I watched the second version (thank you for the link!) and I absolutely love it! I adore the song and the story in the video so much! Both versions of the video are wonderful but I think the second one is a bit better.

This "second" version is the one that's on the ONCP DVD (which I bought from amazon.fr)

 

EDIT: I've just watched both again and the version on YouTube is not the same - there's no Céline concert footage on the official (DVD) version but there are more classmates featured. Someone's obviously being doing some selective editing/splicing!

hey guys I don't speak french well what is celine sing about. I follow the story well. I think that is really neat how they were abole to find someof her old class mates.
