I've seen Celine wear fur in pictures, and as obsessed and in lurve with her as I am, it makes me mad. I know people might say "if that makes her happy, then it's okay". Well I disagree. Fur might make someone happy, but an animal has to die to make that coat. I would never want to take away someone's life just so I could look nice (even though I think fur coats are ugly). I'm very pro-animal rights (and no I'm not a vegetarian...well...anymore), and I'm very anti-fur. This is the one thing about Celine I wish she would change. What about you guys?

I respect those who choose to be vegetarians and vegans and anti-fur (the one whom I consider to be my best friend is vegan and veeeery anti-fur). If you don't want to wear fur, fine, that's your choice and you should be respected for that.. I just wish that those who do choose to wear it would be treated the same... When the pics of Celine shopping in NY were posted on the site people went nuts.. "she disgusts me!" "she pisses me off!" "she shouldn't do that!" in various forms were the only comments on there... jeez... I've stopped getting upset over issues like this.. people with attitudes like that just doesn't deserve my time and energy... But as far as these people's choices...what about the animals choices? They didn't get to choose whether they wanted to live or die. They were unwillingly murdered so people could wear them. Fur's not even fashionable anymore.

Actually, I recently found out that some shoes are made of leather, and now I have to be careful with that too. It's a pain in the butt, but I don't believe it's fair to kill innocent animals and use their parts for fashion. That said, I'm not gonna run around saying Celine disgusts me. I love Celine. This is probably one of the few things I don't like about her, but I doubt I would ever find a celebrity who agreed with my views on everything

I have seen so many "anti-fur" people wearing UGGs, leather belts, leather jackets and shoes! Personally, I think Celine probably wears faux fur. Celine has worn fur on a few occasions and she has not been blasted or ostracized by PETA. Given that it has not happened yet (at least that we know of), she has probably worn faux fur. And by the way... I can have compassion for animals and when I watch some videos of creatures having their hands and feet cut off and being skinned, but at the end of the day im a meat lover who cant live without his ribs and steak and pork chops and MMMM-hMMMMMM!!! <3 i think it's sad if an animal is killed just for it's fur. It's in nature for all animals including humans, to eat other animals. That's just how it works. Fashion is something COMPLETELY different. That's not nature...that's the evil side of humans. To all those who don't see a problem with it well...let someone kill you, scalp you, and use your hair as a wig because they think it looks good. It's the same thing. It's just the arrogance in humans who see less value in an animals life than their own. Humans aren't God and have no right to decide which lives are more important. To an animal...THEIR life is more important, and God never said your feelings are more important than theirs. I don't wanna be rude or anything, but this is an issue I care a lot about. Regarding the leather situation...it's the same thing. There's no difference, and I will NEVER buy anything made of leather. So unless you're God...don't say it's okay to wear fur OR have anything made of leather, or he will smite you down when you die. Are you sure you wanna risk it?
