Longest phone chat for me was with an ex-girlfriend back in 2002. It started on a Saturday morning around 9 and it lasted until Saturday evening by 6. I remember my phone getting so hot, I had to hold it away from my ear!

 

As for longest online chat, it was with someone from here also started on a saturday morning for me, and went through the afternoon

Well, I haven't done this recently, but back when the internet was "just gettin started" ...I stayed up online on AOL talking to people for like almost 2 days straight...I was sooo addicted back then, and the parents were out of town, so yeah, I went a little crazy then

I used to be able to go to my best friends house - Stay over, then she'd phone me about an hour after I'd home, then we'd both be on MSN in the evening and chat! How wrong is that!

My longest online chat? I remember very well!!

In 2005 we were holding a marathon chat on my favourite German singer's fanwebsite. I've been the one who stayed there the longest time without sleep and logging out. There were about 2-3 other people who were in almost as long as I did. Many others just came and gone and came in again later etc.

 

As for me winning the marathon chat: I spent 17 hours on chatting without a break! Now, I'm totally crazy, huh?!

We started the chat at 18:30 o'clock so you can see I stayed there all night long, haha!

 

I don't use to chat that long on the phone, lol, otherwise I wouldn't enjoy my phone bills, haha! But when I still haven't had the internet at home (omg, there was really a time like that once!), I used to chat long on the phone with my current boyfriend back than, about 10 years ago. I think our lonest chat on the phone was about 4 hours long. My parents got mad, because I've been blocking the line for such a long time....
