Concept for a possible "Fade Away" video...

I don't know if there's any hope of Sony releasing "Fade Away," much less an ACTUAL video. But it's always nice to dream. When I first heard "Fade Away," I started thinking about possible video concepts. My first thought was something totally gothic, sort of like "Cry" by Faith Hill or "Behind Theses Hazel Eyes" by Kelly Clarkson. I think it'd totally be awesome to see Celine in such a grungy yet awesomely hot fashion. But then I started thinking, it'd be awesome to have a video where she's on stage and is TOTALLY ROCKING OUT! I don't mean seeing Celine on stage like we always do: pretty dress, hot dance number. No. I mean seeing Celine rock out where the lights are flashing all over like crazy and a bunch of fans jumping up and down with their hands in air, just like, "Chemicals React" by Aly & AJ.

 

Now pulling something off like this is tricky. The key is to actually shoot a video--not just a live performance like the disappointing, "Alone" video. If you watch the "Chemicals React" video, the lights are EXTREMELY bright and FLASHY. It shines straight into the camera and on time with the beat of the song. Everything's in sync. It's not stiff at all, and the background setting is really dark. Most importantly, it's a real VIDEO and NOT a live performance. And I can't stress this enough--we've gotta see Celine ROCK OUT! That means jumping up and down, swinging from once side of the stage to the other, and hair LITERALLY flying in the air. The mood is really hyped up and Celine looks a bit sweaty and very real, with a bunch of slow motion shots so you actually see the hair flying!

What you guys think?? I mean, come on... Celine's got the PERFECT HAIR for these types of videos. Not to mention, it'd be an awesome SUMMER single/video release!!

Fade Away is the most youthful song celine ever put out. it's very young. maybe a video quite similar to Kelly Clarkson's Since U Been Gone.

I lurve the goth idea...but I don't know about the rocking out thing. The only reason is because some people may find it more amusing since this isn't someone like Kelly Clarkson singing. Celine has always been the goodie-goodie when it comes to singers, and everyone knows that. I could be wrong though. Maybe it would be a positive thing. Back to the goth subject, it would be awesome if her hair was black and her face was all pale. No stupid black tears running down her cheeks, but very heavy eye make up with silver eyeliner. (damn I sound like a fag, and I'm not even into make up, lol . I'm more of a Chicago White Sox kinda gay, hehe).

 

Anyway, the one thing I DON'T want is anything slutty. In the Taking Chances video, her legs were spread hella wide, and they were all up in the air, lol. It's just that I feel like I know Celine personally, and almost like she's my aunt or something, lol...so it's weird for me to see her doing that. Especially since she's such an innocent soul.

I would love to see a gothic video. Also, something like Kelly's Don't Wast Your Time video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WLA8EvzA8Yk). I know the whole concept of the video wouldn't work, but I love the setting - the whole castle and vines and Kelly's dress and such.

"Fade Away" Has HUGE hit potential on this album. I REALLY hope Sony/Columbia doesn't miss the boat on this they way this did with I surrender........now for the video!

 

I can see an old concert hall with the orchestra being shown in the dark shadows ( as the song starts.with the orchestra) and Celine on the stage.......then as she explodes into the the chorous the dark black and white video starts turning into colour! OR

 

A second possible concept, several black and white portrails of people in bad relationships or circumstances getting OUT of the bad......."fading away" and moving into the good, with daylight breaking...very colorful at the songs peak or end.

This song is being already criticised as Kelly's rip off. No need truly for a similar video either. I personally find this song refreshing with its pulsing wall of strings and the energetic vocal delivery - everything is tuned to match the power within the song. If a video were to be shot for this song it better emphasize on its energy and rythm. Céline has many possibilities to make this song stand out even more. It's definitely a fan's favourite and it deserves to be a single at all events.

for me a video scenery would be a mix between I Drove All Night/One Heart, Think Twice, It's All Coming Back To Me Now and Taking Chances...

 

You remember Celine in that seat from Taking Chances Video?

That's where we start... I learned from the past ... that's where on the screen in that room where she sits a video starts on which she and a sweet guy (maybe the spanish torrero?) share some lucky loving moments, then they raise a quarrel and at last he wents out with all his things Everything changed, when you walked away... then Celine leaves her observationroom (singing) and goes to the casino, watches the people playing, sitting, flirting etc. and then the whole scene changes, celine stands alone in a big light (like IDAN or OH) and sings the refrain Once touched by pain... after that with the next part she's in the casino again, watches the people, leaves the casino after a while, looks down the streets, has a special look on lucky couples that go hand in hand, she looks often to the ground, kicks some trash on the street and then again the big light Once touched by pain and after that lights turns her back into the scene, she takes a look at another person, a man, attractive, in his mid 30s, dark blonde, he smiles at her followed by the bridge I know that one day I find that feeling again... before SHE takes a seat on her motorbike smiling at the guy, kick starting the bike but until I do I'm doing fine by myself again the ref., the light, celine dancing in ectasy, eyes closed, singing and then a last view, celine on the bike riding into the sunset...

 

...followed by the attractive mid 30 man on another bike in a little distance Just Fade Away... Away... Away....
