Lymon Posted March 16, 2008 at 03:45 PM Posted March 16, 2008 at 03:45 PM I don't know why, but I really love this song. It's so 80's pop-esque, and it's really catchy and fun. It's a great song to play at a dance club. Even though it's really 80's style, it's aged really well(as the entire album has). I know Celine doesn't really like Unison, but I love the album, and I think I Feel Too Much is one of the best songs on it. It shows that Celine does more than huge power ballads. I wish Celine had performed it in concert at least once. It would be interesting to see how she sang it live. Thoughts on it? Quote http://i51.tinypic.com/2uf4r5f.png
Doug Tesar Posted March 16, 2008 at 08:23 PM Posted March 16, 2008 at 08:23 PM I agree with you I have that album and being a fan of hers ever since she made her first hit here in the United States. That song is a up tempo song, yes it is to bad it didn’t make it big. I agree with you if she changed the arrangement around a bit it could be a hit today. You have to remember back then the Bee Gees and ABBA were huge then and had all kinds of hits seminar in tempo. Those were huge icons then and she was just making a break here. I guess that shows just how old I am. Remember 8 track tapes? You had to wait for ever for the song you wanted to listen to… Quote Take Part in World Tour Viideo For Celine Dion

amyja89 Posted March 16, 2008 at 08:50 PM Posted March 16, 2008 at 08:50 PM I love I Feel Too Much! It's sooooo old school! Quote
minolli Posted March 16, 2008 at 09:22 PM Posted March 16, 2008 at 09:22 PM I happened to listen to this song yesterday, and as I did I was thinking about how much I enjoy it. For me it's one of the stand-out tracks on Unison. It certainly is dated, but considering that it was released almost 20 years ago, it stands up pretty well. Elaine Posted March 16, 2008 at 09:43 PM Posted March 16, 2008 at 09:43 PM Yeah! The song is really good... I don't know if it would have been a hit though. Quote http://img807.imageshack.us/img807/1352/opo3.jpg
Black Kitten Posted March 16, 2008 at 11:48 PM Posted March 16, 2008 at 11:48 PM this is one of only 3 songs i usually skip on Unison (together with Love by Another Name & Unison). there's nothing so special about IFTM. i love the 80's sound of the album, but for some reason, i always skip this one. je t'aime Posted March 17, 2008 at 01:42 AM Posted March 17, 2008 at 01:42 AM I like it as well as the rest of the Unison album. It seems that the album is pretty underrated. Quote http://www.tedmills.com/images/celinemonkeyass.jpg
betterone Posted March 17, 2008 at 09:26 AM Posted March 17, 2008 at 09:26 AM Is this song produced by Daivd Foster and Tom Kean? Quote
Esty Posted March 17, 2008 at 09:52 AM Posted March 17, 2008 at 09:52 AM I like the song too. Maybe it could have been a hit if it would have been released. It's more upbeat and club friendly than Unison (except the remix of course). It is so 80s and cool. Correct me if I'm wrong but she did perform it live on the WinterGarden concert. It was also fab and I especially liked the instrumental improvisation at the end of the song. Quote
sangstar Posted March 17, 2008 at 10:01 AM Posted March 17, 2008 at 10:01 AM i love unison, its a heavy album, and i feel too much is so much vibes!! Quote
shady pines ma Posted March 17, 2008 at 12:18 PM Posted March 17, 2008 at 12:18 PM Possibly my favorite track from the album, to be quite honest. It really captures that dance-pop-with-some-guitars-thrown-in sound that was very popular during the 80's and early 90's. If not a big hit on the pop charts, it very well might have at least been something of a club hit. Zora Posted March 19, 2008 at 06:33 PM Posted March 19, 2008 at 06:33 PM (edited) I've always thought it was underrated and superior to Unison, so dayum funky She should do it live! Edited March 19, 2008 at 06:33 PM by Zora Quote LIFE BEGINS WITH LOVE
Jeffieboi Posted March 19, 2008 at 09:13 PM Posted March 19, 2008 at 09:13 PM I'd give it a 6.5-7/10. It's a good song...not great, but it's good. I think she's released way better songs since then. But then again, that was 18 years ago, and music has changed. Still, I enjoy listening to it. Quote

Terre Posted March 22, 2008 at 12:49 PM Posted March 22, 2008 at 12:49 PM IFTM isn't one of my favourite songs. I don't know why but I've never liked it that much. I think the refrain is pretty nice, though.
