Ever been famous for 15 minutes?

Have you ever done anything that got you on the news or on TV in general?

 

I've done two things.

 

1. When I was 5 I starred in an episode of Rosie & Jim, which was a really popular kid's TV show in the early 90's in the UK. Rosie & Jim were puppets and I churned milk with them!

 

2. In 2001 S Club 7 sang the song 'Have You Ever' for Children In Need, and my school was one of the ones chosen to sing on the chorus for it. We got to perform with them on Children In Need night and my name was on a huge list on the single when it came out, which went to number 1 so I can basically say I've had a number one hit single! lol

ayt, i am a member of a band (we call ourselves "Blissful Souls"), i am the vocalist and the acoustic guitarist at the same time. we guested in one of our local morning show called "Breakfast" twice. the first guesting was on Nov. 2005 and the second one was on March 2006. so that pretty much it..

my face was in the newspaper once when the class pic was taken for those who had straight As in our PMR examination

I was at the wrong place at the wrong time LOL

 

naah, the first time was at a red cross shop... the camera man came running after me and asked if I could re-enter the door LOL I can't even remember what the other time was about

 

ooh righ.. I was in the paper once when I was 4 LOL... some stupid play, we were flowers LOL (flower power sorry)

 

then I was in the paper when there was a small art exhibition.. I helped putting up the paintings and stuff...

 

hmmm.. then there was a time when me and a few friends worked together with a power plant thingy.. a short childrens book sorta, teaching them what it does and stuff (for the schools in that area). Me and a few others illustrated it so we were in the paper...

 

and then I was on the radio once... some reporter asked some questions I can't remember LOL.. interest of some sort...

 

and then a photographer took a pic and asked some questions up at the nordic shoe and bag fair last month....

 

and I was in the audience of a popular sundat talk show two years ago...

I wrote a weekly column for the local paper for over two years. And I had a radio program for a year at the local radio station (which was also on local tv at the same time).

 

My first time on the tv was when I send a video (my own version of Madonna's "Vogue") to Sky Channel (or was it Music Box?) and they broadcast it! That was in the early 90's.

I was in a commercial when I was about 8...

and I don't think this really counts, but I used to go see the TV show Reba taped a lot, because I'm a HUGE Reba fan, and I also help run part of melissapeterman.net. Melissa is a cast member on the show, and apparently she knew about it before I told her, and so one of the days I got to stay after everyone else had left and I got to do an interview, and everyone kept asking me about it and I felt kinda famous, lol

I compete in a quiz show last year with other 2 friends of mine. But didn't made it to the second round. The show was broadcasted a few much later but I was too embarrassed to watch it.

Yes, on different occasions. I've been on TV and radio, and there have been several articles about me in different newspapers and magazines. Mainly for reviving the memory of the greatest Bulgarian jazz singer of the 50's Lea Ivanova, who was 'forbidden' during the communistic rule in our country, by making her a website with lots of info and media.

Me (or better say: my close up photo) have my episode in a Polish TV serie called "07 zgłoś się" which was very popular in Poland in the 80s. Lately they released the DVDs of this series and my aunt bought the one with "my" episode and keeps showing it to everybody telling "look, that's my god-daughter" LOL! I always laugh on it as I don't really count it as a "starring" in a movie, hehe!

 

Than I've been on TV quite a lot of times while attending tapings of some famous shows in my country when they got my fave artists as guests and esp. a few times I was lucky enough to seat right next to these artists so I definitely can be seen on screen, hehe! But that's not a big thing either.

 

There were 2 interviews with my entire family in some magazines in the 80s and I still have them. They are 2-page interviews showing a pic of my parents and me and in the other article there was also my brother on the pic as he was just born.

 

Last time I've been in the newspaper it was after my civil wedding - our wedding photo was in the paper, hehe, but that's quite common thing here. The photo was in the local newspaper of my city.
