I recently discovered the Ballad Version of I drove all night (while listening to the amazing Celine Dion Podcast^^) and I really loved it !

 

I also like to pop edit of one heart (really makes me want to dance)

I really love her remixes! Some are a bit quirky, but I do like them! I wish we had more of them!

 

It was hard, but my top 10 favourite remixes are:

 

1) It's All Coming Back To Me Now (Classic Paradise Mix)

I am still hoping she will perform this live one day!

2) Loved Me Back To Life (Jump Smokers Club Mix)

IMO they should have released this version to the pop radio's!

It is just awesome and modern! I would die hearing this in the club!

3) That's The Way It Is (The Metro Club Remix)

I love the build up!

4) Unison (The Single Mix with Rap)

Better than the album version

5) I'm Alive (Tie between Laurent Wolf Mix/Johnny Rocks Rhythm Radio Edit)

Both are so awesome! And so random they made new mixes of IA years later!

6) Treat Her Like A Lady (The Metro Club Mix)

IMO a radio version should have been a radio single too.

7) My Heart Will Go On (Tony Moran Mix)

The reason I bought my first single; of Immortality

8) A New Day Has Come (Mike Rizzo Global Club)

Love the build up as well! Couldn't stop listening to it, on the ANDHC dvd single!

9) Love Can More Mountains (Club Mix)

YOU NEED LOOOOOOVE!!! that says is all!

10)I Drove All Night (GW-1 Radio Remix)

One of the best IDAN mixes! A bit bolder than the Hex Hector mix

 

Also I love those unofficial APL remixes! I wish they made more!

 

And also she has had some awefull mixes, especially lately!

 

Misled (The Groove Mix)

It took the sassines out of the song, making it truely early 90's hiphoppop.

Immortality (Cuca Cool Remix)

Good effort to remix this song, but after all these years, I still don't know if I like it.

Taking Chances I Soul Remix

Yuck, boring

Eyes On Me (Ashanti Boyz Club Mix)

WTF where they thinking!??! This song could have had amazing remixes!

Loved Me Back To Life (DAVE AUDE RADIO EXTENDED)

Dave... it was a bit reserved, it should have ripped more!

This could easily be played in clubs.... She needs DJs like Martin Garrix to transform her songs completely, not just by adding a simple beat and the same basic kind of sound effects over and over again.

haha! yes all the taking chances isoul etc ones were awful and that dave aude one....no....just no.

 

My faves are

 

*My heart will go on TM Anthem full length - gotta be one of the best mixes of her ever - it is exactly what it says on the tin...anthemic...that ending... "you are saaaaffeee in my heart and my (woooooh)....heart will go on and on...and then the complete reprise for the 'ooohhhs' its just ridiculously good. I remember when i first heard it i bought it on vinyl in hmv...and it was like a life changing experience and i remember i had a bath with it blasting haha.

 

*A new day has come (richie jones & chris panaghi).....love love love the interlude and what they do with the added vocals

 

*Somebody Loves Somebody (serving Ovahness vocal) dunno if this one is official but its one hell of a mix!

 

*Loved me back to life - not official but Xiler mix, Probably my fave ever mix of something of celine. Its so different and chilled. I did him the cover art for it out of pure love coz he gave me the mp3.

and again not official but Loved me back to life (Party vitamin mix)

 

treat her like a lady metro....dream mix.

 

and obviously Unison remix - like the most amazing thing ever...complete revamp. i was and still am adicted to this...sans rap please

 

oh god and of course Je neux veux pas 12" mix - MY LIFE ON EARTH I LOVE THAT SO MUCH!

 

 

p.s davey you love all the same ones as me haha - that G1 mix thats so lush and dark - the chorus ruins it but hey...the verses are worth it.

-I'm Alive Humberto Gatica Mix: its very little different to the album version, but it improved the song and should have been the album version

 

yes that version just with that added guitar makes so much difference, i guess the wake up mix is good too - like that even got played on my local radio!
