BODYGUARD is not her album. the same thing goes to waiting to exhale & preacher's wife. music box 30, daydream25, teom 10, mc 20, emotions12, those are SOME of her album sales worldwide. now do the math and add glitter 3m, butterfly 15M, merry xmas 15M, #1's 15, rainbow 10M, cb 4M, gh 3M, tr 1.5M and mtv unplugged 6M

 

 

If you won't include the soundtrack albums, then Mariah has sold more albums than Whitney.

i dont believe that. ..you see! most of celine's sales are certified ... Mariah and especially Madonna have problems when it comes to these certifications..

thats why Celine could safely be labeled the biggest selling female artist.

No record company is going to recount sales from albums released 10 years ago..they see it as as waste of time.almost.

 

.for example .

" all the way " sales always increase coming near the end of the year as well as "these are the special times" .... meaning that sales are on the up worldwide....but the figures for those albums remain the same , and Sony wud just make an estimation every 2 years or so which is nothing more than an estimation.

 

if Celine albums were to be recounted....due to "200 million in certifications"...the figure cud never be less than that ... it would definitely be higher...much higher.cuz theres proof of the 200 mill.

 

Celine album sales are over 200 million now .

singles are at least 50 million

(easy to believe , falling into u and lets talkin abt love combined .are at least 70 million)

 

Mariahs sales are about 150-160 million

and that includes singles and ablums

and i love mariah but truth be told

her albums have two good songs and the rest is usually boring .so i buy her singles instead,.

and thats very common with her consumers...thats another reason y she does remixes that arent on the cd.It helps with sales.

 

And well Madonna sales are confusing to me.one day i hear 800 mill the next 100 million.

as her fans more that the record company estimate figures which i think is funny.

madonna sales are ok but is nothing close to mariah and of course celine.and madonna fans have to sit back and watch two singers that madonna dislikes do what she did ...in half the time it took her.

i love madonna ..well the older madonna..so dont think im hatelin here..

but i believe that both mariah and celine out sold her..

You can believe what you want. Celine's sales of 200 million are like shipments if you want and not sales. in this sense madonna has shipped also close to 200 million and mariah about 180 million. And if you want pure single sales, celine is around 40-45, mariah 45-50 and as much as it pains me to say that, madonna at 90 million. She is unfortunatley the biggest selling female artist but had to use her image to get there (like mariah lately) whereas celine did it with class.

 

my favorite singer is by far celine dion and no one comes close in my opinion, but facts are facts and i can't just invent numbers because i like her more. this is what mariah and madonna fans do, so let us not be the same!
