Hi all, can you tell me what you think about my 8 year old signing my heart will go on?

She`s cute. I liked her better on "Tomorrow" though. I think 'My Heart Will Go On' is a little too big for an 8 year old. And you should try to get the karaoke tracks for her to sing to so that people can`t hear the original artist singing in the background. Its more professional...if that`s the direction she wants to go in.

Thank you for the input Kathy. Actually, "Tomorrow", "So this is Christmas" and "My heart will go on" were recorded in 2007, when I didn't know that backing tracks existed. Since then, as you can hear on the other songs, I have learned to mix the vocals with backing tracks instead of the original songs.

 

It's also harder for my daughter to record with backing tracks since she hears only the music, not the lyrics. But it's getting better.

 

Thank you all for the input and we'll be adding more songs in the future. And yes, she would like to sing professionally....for now.
