x_celinedion Posted March 1, 2008 at 01:57 AM Posted March 1, 2008 at 01:57 AM (edited) My biggest annoyance: The stickers they put on the CD cover rather than on the CD wrapping when your first buy it. You are all psyched because you bought a new CD, you unwrap it and find a sticker...on the CD case. Then you have to sit there, for who knows how long, trying to figure out how to peel off that mother freakin' sticker when all you really want to do is listen the CD. But! If you're like me you must have that darn sticker off before you listen to it. And you sit there trying to maneuver the sticker so it will lift away as easily as possible and not leave that sticky stuff or the white papery remains on it. I hate it! Drives me bonkers. NO MORE STICKERS ON BOOKLETS OR MY SHOE WILL HAVE A NICE FRIENDLY MEETING WITH YOUR REAR END, BUDDY!I think that would definetly take care of it! Okay I also have another pet peeve annoyance about CDs. So you know the new way they are making CDs so they flip open...it's made of papery material. Yeah well. I HATE IT! It's nice because you can decorate the paper covering but I miss the old school way, since when is a plastic case a big deal? My A New Day Has Come Collector's Edition I went to slide out the booklet, right? So to get it out you have to be careful because its located in the middle of the CD thing and it's very narrow. So I took my handp lacing my thumb at the bottom and pointer at the top and squeezed it together allowing the middle of the CD cover to open up so I can grab the booklet and slid it out with my other hand. Keep in mind this is less than a week of me having it, the cover...rips. It didn't rip in the back NO NO NOOOO it had to rip in the front part so when you flipped the left and right side to the middle and you were looking at the front cover, there was a huge rip from the top left corner. It was so noticeable...I wanted to cry. I felt the whole thing was ruined because of the stupid rip. I wanted to go back in time and just not make that mistake. Now because of the rip I was having a big hissy fit via texting to my best friend, Holly, I always go to this girl for everything. I was telling her how I wanted a new one but I didn't want to pay for another one and blah blah blah. So I then got the idea to put a little bit of tape at the top to hold the rip down because it started to make the picture on the front peel away. Now it's harder to get that stupid booklet in and out. I'm going to write someone... Edited March 1, 2008 at 03:50 AM by x_celinedion Quote
stevethefan Posted March 1, 2008 at 03:48 AM Posted March 1, 2008 at 03:48 AM I also can't stand the stupid clear tape sticker that you have to use every fingernail possible to try and remove from the CD case. They DO make these little openers made specifically for cutting that sticker/tape on the CD's now although I've yet to buy one. Oh and while we are on that subject lately I am going crazy by the way they design the way you have to REMOVE the CD/DVD from it's case. You are supposed to usually press on this thing so the CD pops out of it's holder but it seems like I'm usually about to break the dang thing most of the time. Quote

x_celinedion Posted March 1, 2008 at 04:05 AM Posted March 1, 2008 at 04:05 AM (edited) Random one. The show Friends coming to an end. I'm the idiot who thought it would last forever. I miss it way too much. Courteney Cox Arquette Her show Dirt starts up again this sunday, thank goodness I need my weekly Spiller. Yes she is my favorite actress. That brings me to another annoyance, that writers strike because I had to wait longer for Dirt to start. Oh and they only filmed six or seven out of thirteen episodes and they said that's all their doing now. BUMMMERRR. Edited March 1, 2008 at 04:06 AM by x_celinedion Quote
