Ipod help needed! please

well i have an ipod touch which is new and it worked on my laptop the first few times but now it isnt, it sais this iphone isnt recognised, and its an ipod touch!!! so annoying... it works on my brothers laptop still, but it wont work on mine. i have no idea how to fix this what should i do, also has this happened to any of you? would love any suggestions or help. its the 1.1.4 version by the way. thanks in advance

Try update iTunes. Or try uninstall and reinstall it. iTunes is buggy sometimes.

ive tried this a few times and no luck...thanks anyway. this is so frustrating :angry2:

Did you first use it on your brother's laptop? Because sometimes iPods will only work on the first computer they are formatted to.

Yer, this also happens if your iPod is used first on a Windows computer, and then you subsequently connect it to an Apple Mac.

no i didnt use it on his first...i plugged it in at school and it worked! then i tried it at home with my internet turned of and it worked so i turned on the internet and its still working! yay thanks for all your help though everyone.
