amyja89 Posted February 27, 2008 at 03:34 PM Posted February 27, 2008 at 03:34 PM I think this is one of Celine's most underrated songs, I absolutely love it! What do you think? And also what other songs do you think are undeservedly overlooked? Quote
canadachick Posted February 27, 2008 at 03:43 PM Posted February 27, 2008 at 03:43 PM I love all of Celine's songs (lol!), but you're right. I Love You, Goodbye is definitely underrated. I'd love to hear Celine sing some of her much earlier stuff like this. The songs that seem to have been left in the past but are really great. I think I'm going to go listen to those CDs now You know, Unison, Celine Dion, Color of My Love... Oh, Celine, you're too good, haha! grobandion Posted February 27, 2008 at 03:56 PM Posted February 27, 2008 at 03:56 PM I agree, it's an impressive song left behind. But also most of the song from this album are great. I specially love "If you could see me now", "with this tear" and "Water from the moon"Other songs that are like "outcasts" jaja, are "the greatest reward" (from ANDHC) and "Naked" from OH. Don't ask me why, but I absolutely love this song Quote
Black Kitten Posted February 28, 2008 at 01:58 AM Posted February 28, 2008 at 01:58 AM (edited) don't hate me but i don't like this song. this song is very popular here in the philippines and remains as one of her signature hits. after beauty & the beast comes ILYGB and ALBOL, 2 of the album's weakest tracks. i'm sorry but these 2 songs are fillers for me. and our very own female (tagged as our SOUL SIREN) singer NINA covered this song in her 2005 album NINA LIVE and the album went 8x platinum here. she released ILYGB as the last single from that album and became a hit. HERE'S HER OWN VERSION Edited February 28, 2008 at 02:05 AM by dhena Quote

Jeffieboi Posted February 28, 2008 at 03:22 AM Posted February 28, 2008 at 03:22 AM That is my favorite song on that album. I wish she had sung it live, but I don't even recall a performance she she has sung it. Quote
RLAAMJR. Posted February 28, 2008 at 06:02 AM Posted February 28, 2008 at 06:02 AM I agree. The song I Love You Goodbye is one of non-Celine fans favorite Celine song. Everybody who will listen to it will really like it. It wasn't released as a single but a lot of people know the song. Quote

ladyguenevere227 Posted February 28, 2008 at 04:21 PM Posted February 28, 2008 at 04:21 PM "I Love You, Goodbye" is probably my favorite song from that album... highly underrated, in my opinion. So poignant! Other overlooked Celine songs for me are "The Greatest Reward" (one of my all-time favorites), "Love Doesn't Ask Why" (always loved that one) and "Call The Man", (absolutely stunning)! I'm sure there are others... LOL Quote Much Love,Kim Learn more about me, my career, and how I can assist you!

celinecolombian Posted February 28, 2008 at 11:02 PM Posted February 28, 2008 at 11:02 PM Well that's a beautiful song, but isn't that favourite for me, I realize I don't listen to it very often. And I really love Miles To Go, and is as underrated as ILYG Quote

minolli Posted February 29, 2008 at 12:24 AM Posted February 29, 2008 at 12:24 AM I'm so glad someone started this topic. "I Love You, Goodbye" is one of my favorites from the "Celine Dion" album, and is definitely underrated. It's so lovely, and kind of a hidden gem on that album. I was just thinking this afternoon that there are so many great Celine songs that get overlooked, even by fans. Some of my favorite underrated songs are "Miles To Go," "I Remember L.A.," "If I Were You," Where Is The Love," and plenty of others. (And am I the only one who likes "In His Touch"?)
