stevethefan Posted September 12, 2008 at 02:50 AM Posted September 12, 2008 at 02:50 AM A word of advice when buying some of the souvenirs, always look it over before you take it. I bought a program, and the inside is fine but the back of the cover and some of the front has some scratches. I should have had them swap it. Also I bought this electric candle, which has a photo on the side of it but the photo has a part that's kind of worn. It's ok, but check the stuff out first. Quote
idroveallnight Posted September 12, 2008 at 02:56 AM Posted September 12, 2008 at 02:56 AM I'm in the process of uploading some of my photos and videos. Overall the concert was amazing. Celine was in such great vocal shape. Every song blew me away. The beginning of TPOL was beautiful, I was just speechless during Alone, I'm Alive was the best live version I ever heard... every moment was just awesome. Now as for the crowd: if any non-forum member who attended the show yesterday evening are browsing through this forum by chance, I have one message for you: you should be ashamed of yourselves. The best singer in the world and of our lifetime was in your presence and none of you even had the decency to acknowledge her by giving her a standing ovation or even giving her a loud applause. She was standing on the runway right by section E, people were literally a few inches from her, and they just sat there recording her on their crummy cell phones instead of reaching out to her or getting up and dancing along with her. Pitiful, just pitiful. They were just sitting there like it was a library or a business meeting. It was not until she sang MHWGO that you even knew that it was a concert and even then the audience was still under anesthesia. At the end of the show I sprinted from section C to section A where Celine exited from and I experienced the best moment of my life. She walked past me and I grabbed her hand as she put it out and told her how much I loved her and she kind of let go and I grabbed on again and I told her how much I loved her again and she looked right in my eyes and said "I know, I know" in the most sweetest way. I still can't believe I was face to face with her for a few seconds that felt like eternity. I'll never erase that image from my memory and it's a moment I will carry with me forever. Thank God Christine and Ramona were there to sustain me because I was shaking hysterically after. That night confirmed to me that angels are here on earth all around us. 1 Quote
autumnskies00 Posted September 12, 2008 at 02:57 AM Posted September 12, 2008 at 02:57 AM That picture has to be from a new york hotel. I couldn't see Celine staying anywhere in NJ when she's only a 15..maybe 20 minute drive to New York. I do think though, that she'll stay in Jersey for her Atlantic City show because it's further away from the city. Plus Rene can play some poker. I don't understand though why she is always staying in such busy places all of the time. If I were her (I wish) I would want to stay in a nice quiet hotel outside of the city at times just to get some peace. Quote http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b213/autumnskies00/siggy1-2.jpg

Celinenvegas Posted September 12, 2008 at 03:27 AM Posted September 12, 2008 at 03:27 AM This is from the NY post. Does anybody recognize which hotel this is? Did the article say she was at her hotel? To me it looks like she's leaving the venue because she's in the dress she wears to sing MHWGO. You can't even tell what kind of building that is in the pic, it's too small and it's dark. Quote ~J O E Y~
