apparently that song is freakin hard to play on piano. especially the quick bits

 

Actually, it's not hard. :) It's actually level 3 or level 4, which is actually late-beginners level.

great version of ANOTHER DAY IN PARADISE!

 

but his rendition of IMAGINE is still, by faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar, his best performance and maybe the best performance of any AI contestants since the show started. he's a sure winner!

Perhaps, after "Another Day in Paradise," the show producers took over and began selecting songs for him. He doesn't seem comfortable with some of these songs after ADIP. I mean, he has a whole week to practice a song. Based on performances I've seen from him - he seems so polished. And last night, his voice was a bit hoarse! :blink:

im so confused lol. I mean do you happen to know him personally? lived his life? we barely see any of their personality based on the few minutes they're allowed to speak on screen. we just know from articles that he's supposedly shy in school or sth. do you not like shy people? O_O;;

 

and speaking of "coolness factor", how in the world then are you a fan of celine dion lol as much as i love her to death she has never been considered cool

Y_S_P, i know what you're saying about the Celine coolness factor, but it's not like she encompasses my whole life. She's only ONE aspect of me. If I were to say she's all I think about day and night, well that would make me pathetic, and it would with anyone and ANY hobby. Aside from Celine, I lurve party, and I party hard. I have fun with my life and I take risks. I'm not a goodie goodie like so many people here on the forum seem to be, which is 100% fine, but I would never wanna be like that. That doesn't mean I'm a bad person, or a mean person. David Archuleta comes off to me as the kind of person who would say "oh, I can't do this, I can't do that. Im' too scared, it's not right" blah blah blah. Those people annoy me SO much. The ones who are like "I've never smoked a cigarette and I'm oh so proud of myself". It's like...OMG shut up and get over yourself. Try a shot of hard liquor, have a one night stand with someone you've never met, etc.

 

Of course...that doesn't mean I don't lurve everybody here, cuz I do. :)

Someone else (not u Jeffie) posted earlier about David being gay. NEGATIVE. Actually he's a mormon and can't date until 18 I believe, if you watch his interviews, he's into girls. Stop spreading rumors that are false and have no basis and stop pickin on this kid he's a KID, and is obviously doing something right. He seems quite a bit like me and unlike some people on here, I could see myself hanging out with him if we were closer in age. So yeah Jeff, I'm VERY uncool, what can I say? :laugh:

I didn't say mormons couldn't be gay i was just saying that David is not if you see some of his interviews he talks about girls and all. Just cuz he's happy and laughs a lot doesn't mean he's gay.

 

TRUST ME, I'm not cool (at least by ur definition!) I don't drink, smoke, do drugs, do shots, or do 1 night stands (u need to find girls that think ur hot for that, and I've been having no such luck. lol) O well, there should be a singles board on here, to find a girl that's HOT and likes Celine as much as I, that would be PERFECT!

I thought it was nasal at the beginning, too.

 

I'm sure he was nervous, with 30 million people watching on TV!

 

I agree with Simon. The ending was better than the beginning.

 

I must say... I really enjoyed the performance. I wished it was the full song!
