Is there ANY WAY of getting Sony to shoot a video for EOM?

Hey guys,

 

So I saw the TV spot for 'Sensational' today with "Eyes on Me" as the promo song. Ironically enough, the commercial looked EXACTLY like I envisioned a possible video for EOM. Now I know the forum's been yearning for a video for the song but it seems as if there's no hope of Sony doing so.

 

"Eyes on Me," severely deserves a video!! It seems as if Sony has been playing games with the album since it first came out. The thought crosses my mind that maybe they even WANT the album to fail. But there's gotta be someway to convince Sony to create a video for the song!! We've posted our thoughts countless of times and we've yet to get a MAJOR response from the company.

 

The problem is, I don't know where to begin. Is there ANY hope of convincing Sony to shoot a video for EOM? There's gotta be SOMETHING that'll work!!! I really want your thoughts/help. What do you guys think? It's time for Sony to stop messing around and get serious! And if any rep from Sony is reading this, then A VIDEO NEEDS TO BE MADE FOR THE SONG!!!

Well if enough of us show up at sony and rough some people up, we might be able to convince them into one...

maybe they don't want to invest more money if they don't fell it's gonna pay out. perhaps they lost all hope for the album? maybe celine and rene should pay for their own videos and not just wait for sony to pony up.

I think that for the market, EOM needs a MV more than "Alone".

I don't know if they'll shoot another one soon, the tour started in Celine is a human...

I think I read somewhere on the forum that an EOM video WAS made with a bullfighter from Mexico.

if it hasn't been shot already then I doubt they'll shoot one anytime soon. how is she supposed to shoot a video while being on tour?

I totally agree that EOM needs a video, it's absolutely made to be video-afied! But also, I don't know if you've all heard, but The big music companies are going through a downfall... Perhaps they don't want to take risks. But honestly, they should start "taking chances" . I find it sad that both videos won't contain any original material. "Taking Chances" is, as you all know, a cover... and so is "Alone". "Eyes On Me", on the other hand, is fresh... new. It deserves a VIDEO. DAMMIT SONY! LISTEN TO US!

Then again, let us remember that Eyes on Me has only been released as a single in the UK. On the other hand, Alone was released as a single in continental Europe.

Perhaps Sony does not feel a need for a video. Maybe it is not Sony. Celine might not want a video for the song... Who knows anymore!

 

 

We will see what happens in the USA market. It is possible that other singles may be released as the tour nears arrival in the US. Just like A World to Believe In was released in Japan and Eyes on Me / Alone were released in Europe, Celine will be performing in those areas soon.

 

If Eyes on Me is not released in the US, then perhaps we should all forget about a video for the song. Time will tell ultimately.

 

It is also possible that Celine has other choices for singles other than Eyes on Me or Alone for the US.

all i can say is that well they all knew the tour was comming so why didnt they all decide what the singles would be befor releseing the album that way celine could have recorded the vidios for each single and then concentrate on the tour that way while on tour they could have spread the vidios and single releses out through the year at specific intervals.

 

thats what i would have done if i worked for sony.

 

i just dont get it why doesnt rene move to another record company that will put there heart and soul into celines releses i hear virgin are good with htere artists.

 

oh well i guess sony will never learn they just want the money never mind the harm they are doin to the artista career or the anger they are causeing the fans.

I agree, but since Celine is still on Sony Music (that doesn't give a s*** for he anymore) I don't expect nothing anymore.

I agree, but since Celine is still on Sony Music (that doesn't give a s*** for he anymore) I don't expect nothing anymore.

 

I thought I'd given up hope on the album, but I'm still mad. The US has only gotten ONE major single from the album, and that's the title song. And no one can say that SONY doesn't have enough money to shoot a damn video! If they want to see the album do well, maybe they should TRY promoting Celine.
