They needed to find another star to fill the slot. Whats wrong with that! Do you honestly think they were gonna leave the stage empty after Celine left! I am a huge Bette fan but at the same time i completly love Celine! I've seen celine in concert and it was amazing! But at the same time i can't believe you resent the fact that the people at caesars palace chose to fill the slot! Fair enough you don't like Bette, you don't need to hate on her! No bette fans that i know and believe me i know so many, ever hate on Celine. Infact any interview Bette has given about vegas she has said how much she adores Celine and how she's helped her out and given advice! She even gave Bette all her doctor's number's so bette can get the care for her voice! Quote

I don't think you can compare the two shows. Celine's was very cirque du soliel, and concentrated more on the voice. Bette's is a completely different show, with jokes, characters and general camping it up. And a SHOW it is!!! I've seen Celine in concert and she's amazing, but for me she will never be Bette Midler, but in saying that i don't think i want her to be. i love how different they are, and i think caesars is giving Vegas a break, and a new image. What would be the point of gettin another Celine Dion in?? lol And the comment about Bette fans bein old... I'm 17 Anyway, i hope this clears things up. Jonathan Quote
