ashleylovesceline Posted February 16, 2008 at 05:20 AM Posted February 16, 2008 at 05:20 AM The first time you see her, it's intense. My best friend and I nearly hyperventilated, of course it didn't help that the first words Céline spoke that night were to us! My advice to you is to remember to breathe, and try to convince yourself that she is real because that was the hardest part for me. It does help to have someone there with you who will help you keep it together. My head collapsed on my mom's shoulders when she spoke to me, then when I met her at the end of a show she caught me as my knees gave out, haha. I'm sure you will stay conscious, and I hope you have a great time! You never forget the first time you see her perform, you fall in love with her more when you didn't think it would be possible. Filine Posted February 16, 2008 at 10:03 AM Posted February 16, 2008 at 10:03 AM I think it's actually a great topic, because many people faint during concerts and then I am not even talking about people who pass out because they are seeing Céline but because of other circumstances like standing up for hours and hours, the heat, standing in a crowd and stuff like that. I remember sitting high up in the Arena where Céline performed and seeing the security carying unconscious people out of the front section every few minutes. I guess we all should remember, especially when you're attending a concert where you have to stand up for a long time: - Eat properly before you go and make sure you have some candy or something to eat with you- Make sure you drink enough, especially when it's hot and take fluids with you to the concert (or buy there)- We fans want to stand up but make sure you sit down or move around as long as you can and try to move and flex your legs when it's time to adore Céline and you're canned up like a tunafish - If you're attending a concert outside on a hot day, if there's sun, think about sunblock and something to cover your head and plenty to drink If you start feeling faint, dizzy, nauscious.... Try to sit down, move your head between your knees or warn somebody to make sure you don't end up under people's feet, or hitting your head or whatever. If it doesn't pass, make sure they get you out of there. If you see it happen to someone notify security. A New Day Has Come Posted February 18, 2008 at 06:02 AM Posted February 18, 2008 at 06:02 AM I remember the first time I saw Celine in Vegas I was so nervous I could barely eat my supper cause I was so nervous that we would be late and not get in but we did. The first time she came out on stage i was so excited to see her live for the first time in my life and I had to stand and scream and yell. When she sang MHWGO I was crying and after that I was still crying from the amazing show I just watch for the first time. After the show I had to go to the wash room so badly afterwards but it was so wearth it in the end. Quote

celineangel7 Posted February 21, 2008 at 09:21 AM Posted February 21, 2008 at 09:21 AM I may have told about my first Celine concert and how it had a huge impact on me.Let's Talk About Love world tour. I got ready early March 25, 1999. my brother bought the tickets and wentwith me as I was only 13. I went to a few metal shows with him of artists I hadn't known. The Celine concert was technically my first major show after those with my brother. He hates Celine's voice and pop and stuff altogether. I had heard him tell me that he saw in oneof the local entertainment newspapers that he saw a concert ad. I freaked out and begged him to get tickets, because I had no clue how to do it, and my momdidn't have the money then to dish out. He agreed to get them if my mom would payat least half of the ticket price. I had to beg her too! I cried during parts of BYLM,TPOL, and IACBTMN, and MHWGO. I could hardly believe that Celine was in the same place as me and thatit was all real. I did buy the tour book, but didn't have money for anything else. When the concert ended I was in like a I can't comprehend anything kind oftrance and I was crying I was so moved! For 3 days everybody thought something wasreally wrong with me at school. I could barely speak I was still in awe, and whenever I was askedabout how the concert was I got so emotional I was always close to crying you could hear it in my voice!I was just that moved! Now that to me still is really strange, but at the same time that is what Celine did to me.She made my heart tremble, she serenaded my ears, and my eyes lit up in awe. I was VERY lucky, because Rene's cancer was discovered on the plane ride from here to her next stop. All shows were cancelled after that. Did anybody here get cut on that tour? Strangely the Las Vegas exerience for me didn't get me that stunned, but I still was happy to be closerand I cried again during BYLM, TPOL, MHWGO, and was totally blown away by "I Surrender!" That was one of the best moments for me! I did not meet her, and didn't even think about it.I did find out later that she was at McDonalds within three days of me being there! She may haved waved at me and my then boyfriend on our 2nd anniversary day, or the people directly behind us!My heart stopped and I got all super psyched even if she meant to wave and say "hey guys"to the other people. She was pausing while talking to us and we shouted "We love you Celine!" I bought a few things at the boutique in Las Vegas. I want more of that chocolate that was made into a cd! *mouth waters* I savored that for at least a month it was that good! I don't care if it was $10. I never got the chance to go back, because the money was never there, and I had nobody to travel with. That first time was my only real vacation to see Celine Nov. 19, 2003. Almost 5 years later is worth the wait! I never expected a tour until after she had a break! God bless you Celine! Quote * December 18, 2008. 1st time ever in front row for a concert and it was with my idol Celine! Dream #1 accomplished. While singing a ballad the only time Celine looked at me was the time I had my sign up luckily! She stretched out her arm palm faced up while singing with even more emotion in her eyes when she saw it, so it seemed like it was just for me at that moment.Dream #2 accomplished with the extra bonus! She came and left on my side. I went out 1 row, held up my sign and she stopped, held it herself, and just looked at it with an awe expression on her face, stunned and amazed when she saw all the glitter! She looked me in the eyes with those beautiful brown eyes of hers she was tuned into me at that moment and didn't look away, again her looking so emotional as I said with a sincere look on my face to her "It took me 5 hours to make this." (could have been more not sure)She looked down and away very touched like maybe she wanted to cry then she HUGGED me!!!She held me for more than just a moment She really took her time! I said to her while about to cry from the hug, "I love you so much!" Then that was it I don't think she said a word to me. I was crying and saying omg all night with my heart racing and my mind in SHOCK from the unexpected hug and my eyes so sore from crying. I was ready to drop when I got home, but was so emotional I stayed up until 6:30 a.m.! Cried a little for a few days after. Sign and front row seat saved the day!Dream #3 accomplished... Me at :13 NOT my video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L62QJoUgN80
